My heart was bleeding as I stared into their faces, and the myriads of emotions that swam within them tore me further. Selena had a long look that made clear that she was only waiting for an opportunity to switch positions.

Michael, on the other hand, dared to carry sagged eyes with wobbly lips as if he was broken. I knew they were all liars even before the incident with David. I found out that Michael was only trying to help me because he wanted money and the power that came with it.
