Chapter 336 The Wrong Idea

Amelia paused and heard Hannah speak.

She said, "Aunt Ember, please don't be angry. Amelia isn't in a good mood. She didn't come in out of respect. She didn't want her bad mood to affect you all. She went outside to adjust her emotions before coming in."

"Hannie is still as sensible and understanding as before. Your parents are fortunate to have such a well-behaved daughter."

This was James speaking.

Amelia thought to herself about how these people seemed like a family. They might even blame her for ruining the peace if she walked in now.

"Why are you standing there? Come over!" Liam said.

Liam was the first to notice her. He hadn't paid much attention to what the others were saying; he was just wondering why Amelia hadn't come in yet, or if something was wrong.

When he looked at the door, he saw her with a mocking smile on her face. It seemed as if she were an outsider, watching them enjoying themselves.

Upon hearing Liam's words, everyone turned to look at the door.
