Amelia was a little stunned when she heard Liam's name.

"I saw the news a while back. You seem to be on good terms with Mr. Prescott, Amelia."

Amelia looked at Eric. "Those are all rumors they spread online. You shouldn't believe them."

Eric nodded. "I'll believe you, then." He looked quite earnest about it as if he truly believed her.

But Amelia felt that there was something off about it. She glanced at him in surprise.

"We're here," Eric said.

"Huh? Oh, thank you, Mr. Richards!" Amelia opened the door and got out. She then waved Eric goodbye.

"Do you not remember me, Amelia?" Eric suddenly asked, causing Amelia to turn back in confusion.

"We met at the golf course."

With Eric's reminder, Amelia recalled it now. The man in front of her was the same person she bumped into when Alex dragged her to the golf course for a good show.

"It was you! It's quite a fateful encounter," she said.
