Gunshot wound

Amethyst winced because of the sudden pain she felt in her arms. Amethyst hears cars and people's footsteps from outside the house, so Amethyst starts acting again.

Amethyst sat on the floor of her room, clutching her bleeding arm. Her breath came in ragged gasps, and her vision blurred slightly from the pain. Immediately Amethyst saw the people, and Jonathan strode in, his men following closely behind. His eyes landed on amethyst, cold and hard.

Almost suddenly, Amethyst was nervous because Jonathan thought of her. Cold and hard? Why is he like that?

Instead of rushing to help, Jonathan stood there, glaring at her with contempt. Amethyst's heart pounded, fear mingling with the pain in her arm. Did he know? Had he discovered her betrayal?

Amethyst immediately became nervous because she knew that not only her life would be in danger but also the lives of her mother and aunt. She doesn't care about her life, but what she cares about is her mother and aunt.
