The next day, the same man who had visited Jonathan's house earlier sat across from him in the study. Amethyst greeted him because she had no choice but to greet him good morning because she was in the garden when that man entered and their eyes met. That man would be surprised if he didn't show hostility.

When the man entered Jonathan's office, he immediately sat in the chair, even though Jonathan had not said anything to him. It is obvious that the two have a really deep connection. The atmosphere was tense, filled with unspoken suspicions and hidden agendas. The man leaned forward, his eyes narrowing as he scrutinized Jonathan.

He looked out the window and could see the garden from there. He could no longer see the woman his friend had married, so he turned his attention back to Jonathan. "Are you really sure about that girl?" he asked, and Jonathan also noticed that Amethyst was uncomfortable. "Do you really trust her?" he asked again, his voice low and serious.
