Chapter 7

Josiah- 

“Rosemary” I grab her beautiful face towards mine. I can tell she has been through hell. “Rosemary. You’re mine. I’ll never let you go again. I’m a man now, I can protect you.” 

My heart beats breathlessly as I look at her piercing emerald green eyes. I always thought she was pretty when we were kids but she has grown into the most gorgeous woman I’ve ever seen. Not even Aphrodite herself could compare. Her beauty is simply supernatural. 

“Josiah,” she speaks between sobs; “ If I knew it was you, I never would have done this.” Her words cut like a knife. 

“How can you say that? Don’t you understand? We’re mates!”

She looked down confused with her long dark lashes. “I know you felt it.” 

I could already feel myself getting hard just saying it. Suddenly with a fast movement she rushes to grab a dress from the closet and throws it on running to the window. Before I could grab her, she looks back with tear filled eyes 

“I let them turn me into a monster Josiah. You don’t know what I’ve become. I can’t bare this. I can’t bare to hurt you.” She looked down contemplating her next words. “Josiah, I release you.” My chest burned like hot metal. She disappeared out the window as I let out a roar that shook the castle. “Rosemary I’ll find you! If it’s the last thing I do, I’ll find you!!”
