Chapter 122 - The mourning

The following day, Julius tries to call his father again. The theater is set up again, but this time without snow—just the icy desert on his back and the fur coat.

When the phone began to vibrate on Aethelwulf's screen, he knew it was his son again. He had not told the queen that he had spoken to Julius and was reluctant to answer the call. The last time he spoke to his son, he was so upset that he lost control over his wolf, and he didn't want that to happen again.

When the call stops, he breathes a sigh of relief, but the phone rings again.

- Fuck, what an idiot I am. I should have hired someone to find out the origin of this call. I'll have to deal with that next time.

He answers the call and, with a blank look, looks at his son's image on the screen.

- I see you didn't listen to me, and you're still in that cold place.

- Good morning, Dad.

- What good is in the day when my son betrays me?

- I never betrayed him, father.

- No? You tricked me into letting you go back to school. You
