Chapter Thirty Eight

His kisses had started a fire inside her core that refused to be extinguished so she sent him a secret note in return,

‘Thank you for the beautiful gift. I miss you too very much so when you see me wearing your gift then you will know that the wait will be over.’                                                                                                        Romero was thrilled when he got the note from her but he frowned when he read it,

‘What the hell did she mean when he saw her wearing it? He could not get near her that rottweiler Carlotta saw to that.’

He underestimated her again there would always be times when their paths crossed, thanks to the many Mafia meetings and events that they all had to attend. Carlotta kept Juliette close to her during those times and had him watched like a hawk, what made it worse was that when he saw the smirk on her face she knew he was desperate to get her alone. Juliette deliberately flirted with him, her eyes locking on his then she would lower hers and bite her lip provocatively and it drove him insane with lust. He was stunned when he saw her widen her eyes innocently and then drop down to his crotch his raging hard-on was impossible to miss and she let her eyes linger looked back up at him and slowly licked her lips before turning back to Carlotta smiling at something she said.                                                                                                      ‘When had she learned to be so damn flirty?’                                                                                                 He thought adjusting his pants to ease the pressure of his rock-hard cock then when she repeated her actions he found he had to slip away to the men's room to do something he had not done since he was a teenager and relieve. Himself. All he had to do was think of those devious cat's eyes and pouting lips and he came hard shooting into the toilet bowl as he pumped himself groaning at his release.

‘You little witch, next time this will be buried so deep inside you it will cover your womb with my seed’

He hissed under his breath before cleaning himself up and returning to the event it was a charity auction and usually, he would offer bids for things he did not want just to contribute to whatever good cause the money was going to. He could not concentrate and when someone brushed by him touching him deliberately he looked up startled and then inhaled her unique scent. His eyes looked straight into hers and she smiled conspiratively indicating with a slight nod of her head the open patio doors before moving through them quickly. He did not hesitate to follow her seeing her disappear down the path and hurried after her and turning a corner he saw her bathed in the moonlight. She looked ethereal, her hair hung down her back in soft pale red/gold curls, and the dress she was wearing clung to her perfect body. Before she could speak he caught her in his arms and kissed her long and hard possessing her mouth dominantly he pressed her against him. She hesitated for a nanosecond before running her fingers through his thick chestnut locks and opening up to his kiss, when he lifted his head she looked into his eyes and cupped his cheek,

‘Do that again.’

She whispered parting her lips invitingly and he was happy to do so but this time he kissed down her neck making her moan softly as she moved to give him more access. He did not waste it kissing down her throat he pushed down the top of her dress and caught her pert nipple in his mouth, she gasped as electricity shot straight to her core when he sucked it hard. He had her pinned against the wall and totally helpless as he circled it with his tongue and then flicked it, she gripped his arms arching up as he moved from one to the other. Juliette was helpless her body was on fire from his touch and she had no way of stopping it, she did not want him to stop she realised as he claimed her lips once more.

‘I can take you whenever I want.’

He hissed as his thumbs rubbed her nipples,

‘You are mine, remember that my beautiful tigress and if you play with fire you will get burnt my little one. ’

He stepped away from her his eyes so dark with lust they were almost black but he controlled himself and walked away.

Juliette could barely move as she watched him retreating her breath coming in short harsh pants she felt cold and desperate and wanted to call out to him and beg him to finish what he had started. She wanted him so badly she would have let him take her right there not even caring if anyone saw them but instead, she took a deep breath to steady her breathing. It was her fault, he was paying her back for leading him on, he was much more experienced than her so she had got what she deserved. Slowly she adjusted her dress and then made  her way to the ladies' room she needed a few minutes to calm down before she went back out and found Carlotta,

‘Are you okay?’

The older woman asked concerned,

‘You were gone for some time by her flushed cheeks’

Juliette shook her head,

‘I’m so sorry, I just feel a little faint, I tried to get some air but it made me feel nauseous.’

‘Oh you poor girl, why did you not tell me earlier, come, we will go home, I am bored with all of this anyway’

They left without any more fuss but not before she caught Romero’s eye and he smirked at her leaning against the wall looking indifferent, he appeared unaffected by his deed. She, on the other hand, was infuriatingly angry and frustrated with herself for allowing him to gain the upper hand on her as she followed Carlotta out to the car. The next morning the older woman called her into her office,

‘I will say this only once Juliette. I know you let your guard down last night, it is understandable that he can cajole you because you are so young and he is a very experienced man. ‘
