Sonia had just arrived at the cave where the witches stayed and noticed the once green light which shone across the cave, was now purple. She didn’t mind the colors and its meaning, and all she wanted was a proper explanation for the demise of her dad.
“How dare you all? I told you I opted out from being a witch and you killed my father...?” Sonia aaked, visibly vexed at their actions.
The witches on the other hand, didn’t seem to be phased by her nags as they waited for her to finish.“I loved my dad, he didn’t deserve to die...!” Sonia was sobbing as she continued to nag at the witches. The first witch stood up from the rock where she had sat and approached the sobbing Sonia and cupped her cheeks up, staring directly at her.
“We had to do that to cast your mind from any form of emotional attachment.” she said. Sonia was visibly furious and spat on her face. The witch simply laughed in an irked manner whilst Sonia's wolf came to the surface.
Glad you're enjoying the story... Love you all...
Leo, Valerie and the rogues had been running for days now... passing many rivers, jungles and lands with little or no break. On the night of the third day of running, they had to stop and rest for the sake of the females who had been whining were feeling so tired. Valerie was surprisingly engulfed with loads of strength, and so.. wasn’t bothered about slumbering for a moment. While they were all chatting, they heard growls coming from the right side and once again, they all stood up at alert at the imminent danger. Leo didn’t know whether to hide his mate as it seems she too was ready to fight any danger, and this would be the first time Leo was seeing this courageous side of his mate.A group of wolves estimated at thirty, circled the crew as they tried to stay together defensively. The wolves didn’t attack; neither did Leo, Valerie and the rogues. From the left side, one of the wolves walked up to them, he was huge and he had thick black furs.. with it's shoe-butt
Every one in Liberty pack had gathered around as instructed by the Gamma who had made this call as ordered by the Luna. “As you all know, this pack is in danger, our Beta and Alpha is no more, we need to re install a new Alpha and a new Beta.” The Gamma said. There were murmurs every where as the Gamma continued.... “Generally, how this is usually done, is that the Luna will be the supreme head of the pack, while the Alpha’s son takes over. But unfortunately, our Alpha’s son is no where to be found, and our Luna is still with us. And so... I think we would simply crown her as our leader.” the Gamma said with so much authority in his voice as he spoke. Most pack members seconded, while others were seriously against the motion on the grounds that she is a female. “I demand that such suggestion be thrown into the pit and never to be heard again!” Everyone turned to the direction of the voice. It was Sonia, their Beta’s daughter. “You ca
It was night at Liberty Pack and all members were fast asleep. The witches of the dark on the other hand, seemed to be the only beings that weren’t drowsing. They were putting plans in place to initiate park members into their coterie and make them witches just as well. The atmosphere of the ring changed automatically... and the once purpled environ, turned into pitch black. Bubbles began to appear right in front of them... as they eventually faded away slowly with time... revealing a strange looking hooded personality... with a pale looking skin like that of a zombie-white, colourless pall to it . “It is a pain in my neck that we have to give you signs in dreams to meet up with us every night and you eventually declined them all...” Periah stated, staring at the mysterious looking being. “My apologies please.... I needed to be sure no one was suspicious of my movement. For I may have been with them as friends but, with an iota of doubt, it'll becomes an
At nightfall, Leo, Valerie and the rogues decided to camp in a forest which was few meters away from a certain pack that they were yet to know its name. Leo had set up camp fire to keep everyone especially his mate, warm from the incessant cold that continued to plague them this particular night. Right after he was done setting up the fire, he went to keep his mate warm whilst the rest were chatting excluding Joyce who needed to sleep after the event of today.“You know, I didn’t thought our lives was going to turn out this way, being on an adventure with my dearest mate from pack to pack, warning them all of the eventful occurrence that kept happening to us” Leo stated as he stared at the stars with his hands engulfed around his mate to keep her warm. Valerie on the other hand, just sighed and didn’t seem to listen to what her mate was saying, with her mind far drifted away... Leo looked at her, seeking her attention as he tried to bring her back to t
After the unexplainable event, Leo, Valerie and the team of rogues continue their journey as they chatted and laughed while Leo and his mate led the way. The journey was a very tiring one but they were determined to reach the pack before dusk. They were still walking across the forest, when Valerie with her powers was able to sense another impending danger. Valerie tapped her mate and Leo turned to look at her raising an eyebrow no in questioning look once more. "I can feel it once again, we should all stay at alert" she whispered to her mate who was already hearing incessant laughter and so they stopped abruptly. The laughter continued as they were not on sight before anyone, but it seemed the people laughing hysterically could see them. The Crazy laughs of witches continued as the witches kept on messing with their head. "Come out already!", Valerie screamed in frustration
The night was cold and Gold Pack was grave quiet as everyone was fast asleep. The moon was out in all it's glory.. shinning it's light across every nook and cranny of the pack. The pack soldiers under night watch were busy guarding the pack to ensure external attacks could not come near. At midnight, one of the pack soldiers heard a snap from the branches and he stood to his feet at alert... ready to stop whatever or whoever it was. Out of the bush appeared a hooded figure and the soldier began to growl to let the figure know he or she was trespassing. The hooded figure simply removed it's hood revealing a familiar face to the soldier who gasped in surprise at the face he was seeing. Before he could say a word, the figure raised it's hand and began to make gestures with it and the pack soldier started choking as it was evident that it was a magic being used. Right after the pack soldier had lost consciousness, the figure put on it's hood back again and headed outside the pack into t
They had arrived at the cross road in the woods and the Wizard set off to work, removing varieties of objects from his bag, in search of something. He eventually found it; and behold... a charming ring which was crafted out of silver. He took the ring, and stretching forward his hand as he gave it to Valerie."Wear this! It is what we would use in reversing the spell" Valerie put the ring on... glancing at everyone... The wizard brought out an old book and then opened it, scrambling pages upon pages in search of magic words he would use. Just right after he got it, he gave it to Valerie."I know these words by heart, but you don't... And that is why you need to read along while I say them" Valerie collected the book and in it were ancient runes which had translations. While they wer
Liberty pack was unusually quiet as everyone was in their houses, engulfed with the fear of their Alpha who they believe could change anytime. The mountains were becoming empty as lots of pack members continued to be turned into witches. Sonia had arrived at the mountains to see how the plan was going and all she could do was smile satisfactorily at the progress that was being made. "Now that most of the pack members are finally witches, I think it's time we stick to our actual plan or don't you think so?" The witches said amongst themselves with Sonia not able to comprehend what they meant. Suddenly, a force consumed her and she was lifted up and swung across the room like a wood. Sonia hit the ground so hard that she felt her head might split open.
The entire members of the rough were all gathered at Liberty Park to celebrate their Victory as they all invited so many friends of theirs to come join in their celebration. It was indeed a feast of relief; until.."Now, let's all take some moments to relax for a while, while we think of the best way to achieve our next plan". Valerie stated, gazing at them all, one after the other after a moment she invited them into her Chambers for a brief meeting."So what is the next step to take?" Mason asked, still observing the movement of Valerie as she paused."Well.. let's all be patient, and wait for the boss lady to speak!" Leo said jokingly, and all others laughed along with him to make the atmosphere a little bit fit for them all.
“Impossible!!” Seth exclaimed upon seeing Philosepth blown away as ashes by the Pheonix. He didn’t expect the latter to be alive and was certainly annoyed that he had spoiled his plan.“Now that we know that Pheonix is alive, what do we do to stop him because he will certainly be hoping to stop our Agenda of take overs” Sonia asked.“Leave Pheonix to me. He isn’t as powerful as you think. However he is not to be underestimated” Seth warned.Sonia left the living room to meet Leo who was covered in multiples of bedsheet covers as the illness took toll on him.“How do you feel at the moment?” Sonia asked him
Pheonix turned his neck from left to right and popping it with a series of clicks in rapid succession. Then, he proceeded to do the same with the rest of his body as he loosened up the rest of his body.“Don’t hold back or I am going to kill you” he taunted the dark creature. He shrugged his shoulders, smiled, and slowly brought one foot behind his back. He put his weight on it and brought an open palm up, “Wait.” he said and put his hand up to say “stop”.Philosepth turned his head in curiosity.Pheonix went on his knees with the sword in his hand and his head was face to the floor and for a minute he remained in that position. Philosepth was about attacking when he not
When the wizard opened his eyes, he noticed he was completely in another world; he knew that casting the ultimate spell of doom would be very detrimental but he needed to do it to save lots of people. He stepped out of the shadows and noticed how particularly silent the entire place looked. The silence was soon over shadowed by an irking noise which didn’t go down well with the wizard. He searched from his left to his right to know where the noise was emanating from but there was nothing that indicated the whereabouts of the noise.“You sealed your own fate by coming down to the underworld” a voice from the dark spoke, causing the wizard turn around to look for the source of the particular voice.“You thought you could stop us but we are legion!” the voice went on and this time, it was becoming louder an
"I can lead you all to see the creature" the king stated as he leaped up from his seat ."We will be glad your highness" the wizard stated with a smile. While they followed the king out of the living room unto his roof, Levi decided to question Jane as to something which really bothered him alot."Why do they refer to kings in Africa as YOUR HIGHNESS" he asked inquisitively."It is a sign of respect to the king and most times it is done to just reverence the persona that he carries along" Jane explained."Oh!! I get the point now anyways thanks for the clarification" Levi stated. When they arrived
“Behold the reaper is hear” this loud voice was broadcasted through magic reaching every corner of NkoduThe people of Nkodu were caught up in fear as the voice spoke and everyone ran for their lives.Lord Gavel was awoken by the pandemonium in going across the city and he head up to the roof top to see what was causing the entire chaos. From the roof top where he stood, he could see a gargantuan figure rising up from the sea that parted Nkodu and other continents. Possessing a humanoid figure with a gigantic spikes, the creature’s structure was massive, composed of a bulky body and a large shape hole its chest emitting a red light. The creature began to approach the city, swinging a large wood which he held across his arm.“Get the soldiers immediately” the king ordered his personal assistance who ran acro
“How on earth are you still alive?” Valerie asked Mark who had taken his seat on the couch.“Funny story, but I kinda had an alternative route to escape after killing Dr. Auber” Mark explained. He turned and looked at George and opened his mouth in awe.“Isn’t this the famous George whose work has been heavily criticized over the years?” George smiled.“Are you one of those critics or a fan of my work” George asked. Mark laughed and took a glass of wine which sat across the table and gulped everything down.“Let us just say I have read your work and I kinda like it” George sighed in actual relief knowing someone isn’t going to criticize his work
“And what makes you so sure that I won’t stop you? Never forget that I am the last wizard of the ancient order” the wizard remind him.“Crane, you do not need to remind me of your pesky status in the world of witches. Aren’t you the one who started the mess of attacking your beloved friends in the first place?” Seth stated“They were my kindred not friends” the wizard corrected.“Any way I pronounce it is none of your business but all I need you to know is that your act of betrayal against your people for the sake of a mere human was the worst thing you could have possibly done” Seth stated.“You are not in the position to tell me what is wrong and wh
Sonia launched her attack on Seth who simply left the way for her and she felt to her feet and causing the latter to laugh in mockery.“Sometimes I wonder how you even became the moon goddess because you are very pathetic right now” Seth stated as Sonia crawled her way to stand up once more. She attacked once again and this time, Seth blocked the dangerous sword which was about striking him and head but her which sent her flying to the floor.“Just admit it Sonia, you cannot defeat me” Seth stated as he approached her. Sonia thought of possible spells to use and opt for the basic one. Seth dodged the incoming fire ball and laughed at her once more“Wait you really expected to defeat me with a m
