Owen is still unconscious when I leave the hospital. Wendy is so upset with me she does not even acknowledge my goodbye when I leave. I make some arrangements before taking Wesley to the penthouse.

Both Niki and Luca are really shocked when they see whom I came back with. Niki’s reaction is worse than I expected when she realises what is happening. It is safe to say that whatever was between us and everything we shared in the past two days is definitely over. I guess it was never going to work out but this is not how I would have preferred for it to end.

It takes a lot of courage for me not to react when Wesley grabs and pulls her hair like that. I can tell that he is testing me. I keep myself in check and constantly remind myself why I made a deal in the first place. I hope Niki understands. She would have probably done the same thing if this was her brother.
