Chapter 81

Alexander met Damien and Ciara kissing when he entered his room.

They pulled away from each other as soon as he entered.

"Why are you both in my room kissing by this time of the morning? Aren't you supposed to be at the palace getting ready for the ceremony?"

Ciara stood to her feet and walked to the window. Daniel was the one to reply. "Well, we wanted to check up on you. See if you can move around and you're finally okay."

Alex spread his arms . "As you can see, I am perfectly okay. I can even walk and talk, thanks for asking."

Daniel chuckled. "Where are you coming from though?"

"Oh, I took a walk to the cliff. Ciara, I couldn't find traces of blood back at the cliff."

Ciara turned from the window. "Does it show that the sacrifice worked?" Alex nodded.

He took a seat and poured himself a glass of water, gulping the whole thing down. "I saw that the palace was quite filled with activities."
