Chapter 141

Loki stared down at the girl standing before him. Her honey brown eyes swirled even in the dark and even if he knew that she was unable to defend herself, something had made him ask her to duel with Kayla.

She looked interesting and he could read it in her eyes. There was a mystery behind those eyes and he wanted to know what it was.

"Your name is Heyli?" He asked in his calm voice. His Norwegian accent could not be ignored and she wondered if he was an immigrant from another pack in far away Norway or he was a descendant of a Norwegian family and somehow, he had grown up with that accent.

"Can you hear me?" Loki repeated as he waved his hand in front of her face.

Heyli shook her head as if to clear off whatever thought she was having before she nodded her head. "Yes, my name is Heyli. Thanks for pairing me with Kayla,"

Heyli's voice dripped with sarcasm and Loki knew she was angry. He smiled. "I'm actually really sorry. I rarely visit and today, there was s
