What is it?

"Where are you?" Gil questioned, as soon as the call got connected.

"I am at the bar... why?" Carlos replied in a hesitant manner.

"Which bar? I am coming to pick you up," Gil said.

"I have my car buddy...you don't have..to"

"I will be staying with you for a while..." interrupted Gil coldly.

"You what?" Carlos got stunned.

"Why do you have a problem with that?"

"No, it's not that. I am at Western Bar," replied Carlos helplessly.

Disconnecting the call Gil walked out of his office, after grabbing his coat and the packet from his drawer. When he got to the parking lot, his chauffeur came running towards him and opened the passenger seat for him.

But Gil didn't slip inside, instead said, "Key.."

"I beg your pardon, CEO.." the chauffeur said as if he heard something wrong.

Gil extended his hands towards the chauffeur and said, "Give me the keys.."

The chauffeur hurriedly placed the keys on Gil's hand. Gil got in the car and drove away without saying anything.

As Gil got to the bar, he rolled down the window to glance outside a place for parking but the familiar aroma it came again and got straight to his nose which drove him crazy.

 "Why does it follow me everywhere?"

He then hastily fetched the packet from his pocket and unwrapped it. He took out the small bottle from it.

He then opened the bottle cover and poured one drop of liquid which was slipper-like oil on his nose. The liquid went inside directly to his brain and in no time it malfunctioned his sense of smell.

He then kept the bottle back to his pocket and got off the car. Adjusting his coat he walked inside the bar.

The bar was so noisy and crowded. Some people were hooked on the bar taking drinks. Some were sleeping on the couch. Some were dancing with the bar dancer on the stage and others were enjoying the dance drinking.

Gil was already feeling sick of the place. He took out his cellphone and dialled Carlos number.

"Where are you? I cannot find you.." asked Gil standing in one corner keeping away from the crowd.

"Is there any Waitress or Waiter around?" interrogated Carlos.

Gil looked around and saw one waiter coming towards him "Yes...why?" asked Gil.

"Now when he gets closer say the code word 'Intricate Epigram,' Carlos said on the other side of the phone.

"What nonsense...?" Gil retorted feeling disgusted.

"It's the code word, buddy.." Carlos then hung up.

Gil had no other choice so when the waiter got closer to him he said, "Intricate Epigram."

The waiter glanced at him and walked away from there. Gil was stunned and had no idea what to do. When the waiter got step away from him he turned and glanced back at him.

Gil gazed carefully when the waiter finally showed his fangs. Only then Gil went after him knowing he was his kind. They got through the stage where some girls were performing their pole dance. They got to the staircase which was meant to go upstairs. 

The waiter stood there and looked around. Only then he repeated the code word "Intricate Epigram" The staircase which was meant to go up suddenly altered into the downstairs.

The waiter then turned towards Gil bent little and said, "Enjoy.."

Gil who had no idea what was going on nodded and hiked downstairs. Steps by steps he got down and got the feeling of being around his kind.

Finally, when he was at the end of the staircase everyone stopped and stared at him.

"It's... him..." said one.

"Yeah, it's truly him..." said another.

And all at once bowed infront of him.

 "Welcome master.." said all at once.

"Rise up everyone it's not the time to bow but to rise... It's our time... Time has come to rising Vampires Era.."  said Gil to all.

"Yeah..." everyone got up and shouted in excitement.

Uh! excuse me... excuse me.." Carlos made his way through the crowd.

"Oh! there you are," said Carlos approaching Gil.

"But I simply cannot take you, buddy, you know that right? I really cannot deal with your wife Martha..she is a very tough woman," said Carlos drinking the blood from his glass.

"I know," said Gil looking at his glass absently.

"So what is your other plan?"

There was no answer from Gil. 

"Gil" called out Carlos.

Gil switched his gaze from glass to Carlos but said nothing.

"What is it, buddy? You can tell me.." Carlos consoled.

"I don't know mate what is really going on with me. This afternoon when I was going to Company that aroma I smelled it again. And you wouldn't believe it I saw her.."

"What? No, that is not possible,"  exclaimed Carlos in astonishment.

"Yeah, I don't know whether it was my hallucinations or she was real. But the saddest part was in one sight of her I got down of the car in that heavy downpour. And you know how much I hate the rain,"  said Gil drinking the blood.

"You truly must be hallucinating mate because there are no chances of her being here," said Carlos.

"Yeah, I know that but that aroma I smelled it back in the parking lot as well," said Gil.

"There is probably something wrong with your senses mate," mocked Carlos.

But the cold stare of Gil made him regret what he said. So he hastily took the glass and gulp hard.

"I have no idea what I will be doing. I came here for revenge and is thinking to head to my destination next week but still far from her smelling her aroma is also driving me crazy. If this happens how will I take my revenge on her? Oh! this is going to be so tough."

"Are you an insane, Eva? Do you have any idea what you are doing?" yelled the bar manager.

"I... I am really very sorry. I did not do it on purpose.." Eva tried to convince him.

"You pushed a customer from the stage and walked away from there and still you say you didn't do it on purpose? Are you out of your mind?" yelled manager looking at her with his piercing eyes.

"I...I am really very sorry.. actually...I heard my son calling..and I.." Eva broke into tears.

"Son? Which son are you talking about, Eva? Your son is lost long ago have you forgotten that?" 

Eva shook her head right to left. "No, I haven't.."

"Then..how the hell will he call you out?" asked Manager.

"I...I don't.. know okay. I don't know..I am sorry. I am sorry," said Eva.

"If it wasn't that you were customers favourite I would already kick you out of here. This will be your last chance," said manager pointing his index finger threatening her.

"Thank you.." Eva said in relief.

"Now go and carrion with your job. I will deal with the injured customer.." manager strolled muttering in anger.

Eva was still in shock how she heard her son's voice calling out for her. 

"Was it because she missed her son much or was it truly him? Seeking for her help?"

She walked to the stage in astonishment and started to perform her pole dance absently. When she was at the top of the pole and performing. She heard it again.

"Mama...mama.."

"Nigel my son.." Suddenly, she lost her balance and fall off the stage.

"Ah..." She screamed in fright.

But a miracle happened instead of falling on the ground she landed on someone's arms. When she slowly opened her eyes and it fell on his muscular chest.

When she slowly moved the gaze from his chest to above his white face, he was looking away from her ignoring the fact that she was in his arms.

Her heart pounded and strange feeling aroused inside her which she had never felt before.

"What is it?"
