We had indeed gotten a room; the night was sweet. I couldn’t tell yet if it was all acting, but I loved the new Carlos except that he didn’t talk much.

The next morning, I woke up in Carlos's arms, he was already awake, watching me. It was the first time he would wake up before me. My head was a bit light, and I wasn’t feeling so well. Maybe it was the place. I want to go home.

“Are you okay?” Carlos asked, he had probably noticed the change in my countenance. I wondered if telling him about his father’s house made me feel sick.

“Can we go home this morning?” I asked instead.

“You want to go home now?” He asked as his fingers brushed a hair that had strayed to my face and was covering my eyes. My hair on my head didn’t feel blue, to be honest, I still felt like a blonde but seeing it on my face reminded me they were blue. Maybe I’ll keep it that way, being a blonde was said to be tiring, although I didn’t see what was tiring about having any color of hair.
