There were stars in Jian Jianan’s eyes. She took one glance at the glass of red wine and soon fixed her gaze on Shen Linfeng. She knew he wanted to make a fool out of her on purpose. She could sense the smugness in his mocking tone.

She smirked when she realized Gu Mocheng had no intention to help her. Did he want revenge on her too?

“Such a generous man indeed. Would it mean I’m being unappreciative if I don’t drink it?”

She took the red wine from Shen Linfeng, and finished it all. The way she drank was like she was drinking white wine. She was a vision of bravery and purity!

Gu Mocheng frowned and stared at Jian Jianan, his face deadpan.

After drinking the last drop of the wine, she turned the glass over. With her gaze on Gu Mocheng, she licked her tender, red lips with her pink tongue in a most seductive way.

Gu Mocheng recalled their kiss at the army camp and he could not control how his body reacted.

‘Damn it, what is going on with him? Was Shen Linfeng right? Was it time for him to find a woman to release his sexual desires?’ Gu Mocheng wondered.

“It is indeed a good wine!” Jian Jianan placed the glass on the table.

‘Clap clap clap…’ Shen Linfeng applauded and said without sincerity, “Miss Jian is the most genuine person I have ever met. Very well, as I promised, I’ll send you home. Shall we…”

She raised her eyebrow and wagged a delicate index finger. She then pointed at Gu Mocheng, who had been quiet this whole time. “I don’t need you to send me home. I want him instead!”

Gu Mocheng stood cold all of a sudden. “Linfeng, take her home. I’ll return on my own!”

‘Damn it, she just drank a glass of red wine. Why would she be dizzy?!’ Jian Jianan thought, puzzled.

With her alcohol tolerance, she should be able to finish two bottles of red wine easily!

After leaving the restaurant, Gu Mocheng tossed the car keys to Shen Linfeng. “You drive!”

Shen Linfeng pouted. He, the son of Shen Group Entertainment, was being ordered around like a valet. If anyone treated him the way Gu Mocheng treated him, he would definitely have punched them in the face and made them lose all their teeth.

The car had traveled for a distance and Jian Jianan, who had drunk a glass of wine was leaning on Gu Mocheng’s shoulder, sleeping.

Shen Linfeng stole a glance at icy exterior Gu Mocheng was trying to hide from the back mirror. He coughed, “So are you planning to send her home yourself?”

‘Jian Jianan was the one who caused their engagement to break. If he were to send her back home in a drunken state, would that not signal to everyone that Jian Jianan is Gu Mocheng’s one and only?’

Gu Mocheng frowned and looked at Jian Jianan, who was in a deep sleep. He had half a mind to ditch her!
