Bittersweet taste

Eleonor parked the car at the first hotel she found. Without the courage to get out of the car, she puts her forehead on the steering wheel and collapses, unable to contain the sobs that escape her lips and the heavy tears of guilt. She knows it's too late to regret it, but still… it's hard to control the ravaging feeling in her chest.

Her vision is blurred with tears as she takes out her phone and struggles to call Lisette. Unfortunately, the call went to voicemail, so she just left a message in a broken voice, telling her friend to meet her at this hotel. Then she notices the hundreds of voice and text messages Emily has sent her over the past few days.

One by one, she starts to listen:
