Chapter 5

The day was the brightest day ever , so many people had prayed and wished that this day could come a little faster and when it did , they never failed to show their excitement and their love for it .

Everyone wanted to see the long lost daughter of Shaun's family and how she had turned out to be , everyone wanted to know what she had been doing with her life and why she had suddenly come back .

Every media house was already set for the news , they wanted to know her own side of the story .

In the shuan family house , so many guards and maids walked all around trying to make sure that everything was put in place even before the party started .

The decoration team was doing a nice job because the place was looking as good and beautiful as ever .

Amelia sat on the bed while staring at the clock .

It’s been a week of her being a free person and also getting to meet her family that she never thought to meet .

She hadn’t been able to meet with anyone , because she still found it hard to trust people and wanted to be on her own .

It was a good thing that her parents never asked her if what Williams said about her was true and she was so grateful for that , she wasn’t ready and not in the right state of mind to have that conversation with anyone and she just prayed and wished that they never asked her .

Taking a glance at the party already set , she let out a sweet smile , her parents had already briefed her on what was happening and also she was told that she had a twin sister and she would be arriving soon .

A knock on the door brought her out of her thoughts .

The door opened and her dad walked in .

“ Good evening “‘she greeted, even without sparing him a glance .

She wasn’t ready to listen to his sweet talks again , she just wanted to be alone .

“ Your sister Kendall is here , I would really love you to loosen yourself and you guys have a nice conversation , and your mom would be waiting outside “ her dad told her and she just nodded her head to his words as she watched him leave .

Amelia had met her dad that evening and it was really a roller coaster of emotions. She had thought that she would have a lot of siblings but she was surprised when she found out that she had a twin sister, though she didn’t want to meet her but she really wanted to .

When Amelia heard the door opening , she raised up her eyes and her eyes fell into a beautiful girl , though she had the features of their parents but they didn’t look identical and she felt really grateful for that .

The girl looked at her and didn’t even hesitate to hide the hate and the jealousy that she had in her eyes .

She had blonde hair , blue eyes and the perfect body of a model , though she looked gorgeous but Amelia knew that she looked more gorgeous regardless of the fact that she had been in jail for the past five years , she still managed to look good .

“Hi, “ Amelia whispered, trying to ease the tension that was in the room. She was the eldest sister , so she had to make this okay ., but her sister seems to pick an offense with her words .

“The last thing that I would ever support is you , opening your disgusting trash’s to say hi to me , for goodness sake what gives you the right to talk to me , so you think that because my family accepted you , I would , if I were you , I would go back to wherever that you came from because you are not my family and you will never be a part of this family , I just can’t believe my parents spent a huge amount of money to get your silly ass out of jail , you silly disgusting piece of trash “

The moment the girl finished speaking , she walked out of the room. Banging the door behind .

Amelia wasn’t hurt by all that she had said , she had so many things to think about not bothering herself over someone that was of no value to her .

One step at a time , she thought to herself , she couldn’t wait to see the shock on his face tonight .

Amelia stood just behind the big curtains that held her from the whole world .

The whole place was filled up ready to see who the eldest daughter of the shuan family was .

She was to give a speech though she felt really nervous but she wasn’t going to stepped out now .

“ Be strong baby girl” her mom mouthed to her .

The moment she heard them call her name she stepped out .

The cameras immediately went to her face and a very loud scream tore out of everyone's lips as she walked out, but she was indeed beautiful , an angel in human form .

Amelia stood there as she watched her mom give a speech with tears in her eyes, when she was done she gave her a sweet hug and a peck on her face .

She took the stand and gave a broad smile as she began her speech .

She took the back door that was just by the garden where the party was being held , she could see him making different calls and that only made her smile the more .

They were sudden beads of sweat on his head .

When she finished speaking , she turned , she was satisfied with the lols that he had on .
