Chapter 6: Secret Admirer

It's been three days and my locker was being bombarded with chocolates and letters. Whoever is this secret admirer, he/she knows I'm a werewolf. I couldn't distinguish their smell since there was a weird scent lingering in the stuff they sent me. Also, the three mean villains are not active. I haven't seen Mandy and David together as well. She's always clinging to Lucius which made my blood boil in utter disgust.

'First David and now Lucius wow Mandy sure doesn't know the word content.'

"Julia, have you seen anyone near my locker?" I asked her.

"Nope girl, whoever it was he is unusual. How did he know your locker code or what time does he put those things in your locker? We even tried to wait for him after school and before going here." she answered.

That was a bit unnerving. We are trying to catch this mysterious letter sender. We started going way too early to school and even went home late. However, they are too sneaky for us to catch and this frustrates me even more.

"Alison isn't that Lucius? Who's that girl with him?" Julia whispered trying to be discreet. Nevertheless, Lucius can hear her.

"I don't care he can hook up with all the girls in school and I won't batt an eye to it. Besides he's not my boyfriend girl." I told her. Pretending that I don't feel a thing was much worse than admitting it. They would only make a fool out of you.

"Everyone in the gym class the principal has an announcement." The teacher asked through the speaker.

We met Shirley on the way and some kids from the basketball team. Allan put his arms around me clinging like a kid.

"Ali, how is your day? Want to come to our hang out today?" Allan asked whispering the invitation to my ear. I want to but wouldn't the other kids dislike me for not shifting yet? I looked up at him and gently smile. Hoping that he won't insist.

"But wouldn't like me? You know I haven't shifted yet." I whispered back. Our friends are teasing us for being too seriously discreet in our conversations. The boys are even whistling at Allan's actions.

"With that smile? You will impress them, you are the most wonderful, gorgeous, funny, witty, and cute baby of our pack." he teased. I gave him a pout and pull the girls away from them.

"See you later puppy Ali." Allan holler over the boisterous crowd of students.

Julia and Shirley giggled like stupid teens in heat. "You're a puppy now Alison. We didn't know." Shirley was the first one to taunt me.

I gave her a playful smack and hide my face with all the embarrassment. I bet I look like a ripe tomato now.

"Students please quiet down a bit. We have some important announcements." Our PE coach announced.

The students clamoring died down as the principal enters. Mr. Sanchez is an old bald plump guy who always gives candy to students as if we are still little kids. He likes children too much which is why he is greatly admired and well respected by everyone.

"The contest which was supposed to be in four days will be moved two days from now. Also, there will be five sections that will participate instead of three. Many people will visit us during the contest so I expect a great performance. Regardless, enjoy it and act as if we are not there. Be confident even if you lose the contest. For me, you are all winners." Mr. Sanchez informed us.

Cheers are overwhelming the gymnasium from students that are too excited about this contest. I wasn't that confident but I think I can do this. There were also some follow-up announcements but I didn't listen anymore. I look back only to find Lucius gawking at me like an eagle. He's a weirdo and a stalker I guess. I move a little bit forward to hide from his judgmental eyes.

As soon as the announcements are done we head back to our classes. Since Shirley wasn't our classmate she went the opposite. As for Julia, she hooked her arms to mine.

"Are you nervous Cinderella?" she inquired.

I grin and look at her. "Girl you are my best friend for two months now and yet you still don't know me?" Laughing as she pouted at me. She smacks my back before running to the classroom. Good thing I wasn't wearing tight pants or it would stick to my butt like adhesive tape.

"Who is Allan to you?" a girl asked me. She was stout and a little bit chubby but not as big as Mandy. She's kinda cute actually. Her black hair was tied into a pigtail and she has icy blue eyes. She reminds me of Lucius somehow. Well, they look similar.

"Oh, and who might you be? Are you his girlfriend?" I smiled as I return the question.

"Nope. I'm sorry I haven't introduced myself. I'm Winrey Kingdred. Twelve years old and an Omega just like you. Are you my brother's mate?" she asked so loud that I instinctively covered her mouth.

"What the - We're not supposed to talk things like that in public places." I shushed her with my palm.

"Hmm, you smell nice just like my brother. Ohh strawberry I love strawberries." she bemused.

"Alright kid. I'm not your brother's mate so could you please go? Before the humans get wind up in our conversations." I whispered to her.

"So it's true then." she looked up at me as if she was about to cry.

'True? about what?'

I asked her what truth she was talking about but her eyes started to water up. I'm trying to shush her but it was no use.

"My stupid brother likes that mean Beta. She always harasses me and says mean things to me. He doesn't believe me when I tell him that anymore." she cried.

My heart wrenches seeing this angelic face crying so I gave her my favorite bread I always bring to school. It was a chocolate croissant with whipped cream.

"Hush now, Omegas don't cry or we will be mocked by others. Smile you are prettier when you do that. Who's the name of that mean girl you are saying?" I asked her as she munched on the bread I gave her.

"Mandy. She said she'll be our new Luna when dad dies." She sniffed between words but I still catch it. So she dumped David. I thought they are true mates. Turns out she's just pure evil to the core.

"Winrey. What are you doing here?" Lucius uttered in confusion. She looked at me before looking down at Winrey.

"Alison, what have you done again?" he asked with gritted teeth. Oh my, what a hypocrite. He doesn't believe his sister when Mandy is bullying her and yet when he misunderstood this scene he will act like a concerned brother. I pat Winrey on the head as she wiped the tears away. She smiled and thank me for the bread before going to her brother. I didn't answer his question I'm already tired of his shenanigans to deal with.

After our Science class, the teacher let us discuss the play. Julia asked me to wear the dress as my other classmates insisted as well. I went to the comfort room downstairs and proceed to wear the gown. It was a blue gown with beautiful laces adorning the ends of the skirt. Some fake diamonds and sequins make it sparkle and stunning. The puffy blue sleeves are so soft that I have an urge to burrow my nose into them.

When I got out, I bumped into Mandy. She was also trying out a costume. However, it looks like she's a ghost rather than a character in a play. I laughed.

"Pfft. I didn't know you were also in a play Mandy. It fits you well." My comment oozed with sarcasm. The outfit barely fits her as if it was about to pop. She glared at me unable to retort since she was in an embarrassing situation. I smirked as I looked at her with resentment.

"Unable to spat nonsense seeing I AM MUCH BEAUTIFUL AND SMARTER THAN YOU?" I purposely drag the last lines.

"No, you're a much better villain than me. Pretending to be nice and all. But in reality, you're much worse than me Alison. " she sniffed as the tears welled up in her eyes.

"Are you sure about that Mandy? Is that the best you can give?" I asked snickering. Unable to hide my grudge against her. I wanted to kill her now if I could but that would be too easy and I don't want to lose everything the second time. I'll make sure they are tormented slowly while everyone isn't aware that I am the one behind such marvelous and well-planned schemes.

"Alright, Alison you asked for it. You better be prepared for the consequences of your actions. Once I become the Luna I will get rid of you." Mandy uttered in agitation. She wiped her eyes and turn her back to me.

"I will take away everything from you in you will regret." She said.

"Oh, you are more welcome to try my dear." I smiled. Victoriously winning another battle with her.

She gives me a death stare before stomping away. After looking at the mirror I proceed in going upstairs to our room.

Everyone gasped as I enter. They're exaggerating again. Praises soon bombarded me when Julia finished my makeup. I got my phone to take pictures while I'm in my costume and posted them on our secret social media. Our pack can only access it though. But also I put it on my social media where I'm friends with Julia and the others. Then a weird comment caught my attention again.

'Wow, you look an angel out of this world. That's why you deserve such sweet things only. I will never stop giving you those letters. I hope you notice me.'

It came from an unknown user. I closed my phone immediately and focused on my classmates. Julia was giving me an exciting look as if she wanted to tell me something.

"Alison you're so pretty. I bet our class will win this competition. You and Mark will make a good couple. I thought Lucius would agree to the prince role since he's much more handsome than Mark and he fits the princely attitude but..." I stopped them. Lucius might misunderstand that I like him so I made stopped their attempt to make him do it. I'm happy with Mark being my prince instead of that terrible Alpha.

"Guys if he doesn't want then don't push him for it. What will Mark say hearing you say such comments about him?" I smiled at them trying not to gain haters. Julia pinched my hand and whispered to me something.

"Alison it seems you caught his eyes though. He was staring at you from time to time. You see his interest in our beautiful princess." she gleefully remarked.

"Julia she must be looking at you don't misinterpret it. After all, he stated to me to mind my own business." I shrugged as a matter of fact.

Julia looked down and I pinched her cheeks so she wouldn't take that badly.

"I would rather have you my lady as my prince." In which they all laugh. Julia smirked and tickles me for revenge. I didn't dare look at Lucius anymore. The more attention I give him the more he will be interested in me. Since it's Friday we rehearsed one more time. We wouldn't be seeing each other during the weekends so we made sure to practice our lines. We prepared for it after all. The other casts have tried their costume as well and we did great.
