Megra

It's been a few months since Nathaniel's wedding to Anna, and I can finally see the changes in my body. My pregnancy is now visible, a constant reminder of the life growing inside me. As I stand in my cozy living room, the sunlight streaming through the curtains, I place my hand on my rounded belly and take a deep breath. Today, I'm going to visit my mom's grave, and I'm not going alone. Liza is accompanying me.

She smiles warmly at me, her eyes sparkling with pride. "You look beautiful, Megra," she says, her voice filled with admiration. "I'm so proud of you for moving forward without Nathaniel." She has been like a second mother to me, helping me navigate the pregnancy and my thriving job as a teacher.
