For some seconds, I was dumbfounded as I stared at Janet crying and my mind drifted to when we were in high school.

Back in high school, Janet was notorious for sleeping with different men, dating some of them for a short time and then dumping them when she is tired of them.

Sleeping with different men was not really the problem. The real problem was some of the men were infecting her with sexually transmitted diseases. As if that was not bad enough, Janet was often getting pregnant and whenever she realizes that she is pregnant, she immediately aborts the pregnancy.
