For a couple of seconds, Alpha Vicker and I stared at each other.

"Whitney, you smell like a mixture of vanilla, lavender, and jasmine. You smell so good and inviting and it's making my senses run wild," he said.

"And you smell like the mixture of musk, sandalwood, and rosewood," I said in a whisper.

"Oh, my goodness! Never did it cross my mind that you could be my mate," he said with disbelief.

"Same with me. I'm as surprised as you," I said with a smile as joy filled my heart.

"Yes, of course," I said as I stepped aside from the doorway.

I turned around and saw him standing beside the cot and gazing at my baby with a smile on his face.

"Justin is growing very fast. How old is he now?" he asked as he turned his head to look at me.
