Barbara went mad before Bethany said anything to Antonio.

She came up and blocked between Bethany and Antonio. "How dare you bring up that matter!? Joanna would never have the chance to marry if it wasn't me!" she said, looking furious.

Antonio was shocked by Barbara’s reaction "Calm down, Barbara!" he said.

"No,"Barbara shouted, clenching her hands into fists, "No! Why do I have to calm down? ! After all the vile things that your daughter has done to my precious Benny, I never doubt it! And now you want Bethany to be a nice person and forgive Joanna? Never!" She held Bethany in her arms again and said to her when she finished her sentence to Antonio, "Let's go, honey."

Bethany nodded. Bethany and Barbara didn't say anything more to Antonio and Daphne .

They left the police station. Barbara was still mad at Antonio on their ride back to the hospital.

She couldn't help thinking about it. She found it hard to accept the fact that Joanna was going to get married into an elite family
