Aurora's POV

Flashing a smile at my father as I sat on the long dining table which was usually used for breakfast, I forced myself to eat even when I knew that there was no way I would be able to stomach food at the moment.

Scooping the soup which was placed in front of her elegantly, "Don't you like it, princess?" My mother asked, I flashed a weak smile at her, hoping that it would dispel whatever thought she was having although I knew that it was almost impossible for that to happen.

"Roselyn"

"Mother…" I grunted, placing the spoon I was holding down. "Not again" I shook my head at her.

Since the day I had breezed in from Jackson's place, I had refused to utter a word about what had happened that day no matter how many questions were thrown at me and I didn't know why, was I protecting him from my father's wrath? Or was it just that I felt pity for him? I just couldn't tell which was it but still, I wasn't going to utter a word.
