Forgotten her

Sebastian POV

Pacing up and down, clenching my phone tightly, I waited for Karen's call but there was none. I had been meaning to ask how he had left my room because I didn't see him immediately I had walked in but still, I couldn't get through to him.

Slumping on the chair, I shook my head, not wanting to let anything bother me, with a pile of documents waiting for me, I knew that I had to go back to work. Right away. Because it kept accumulating with each moment that passed.

His father was a difficult man to begin with and contacting him was out of the question already.

The creaking of the door pulled me out of my daydream and Laden walked in, a sullen look on his face. I tapped my fingers on the table waiting for him to say something, anything but he didn't.

Gazing up at him. My eyes fixed on him. "What do you want, Laden?"
