2 . Surprise

Getting out the shower and drying off I walk to my mirror to start putting my make up on and decided to do a light application. Finishing my make up I moved on to my hair and applied some hair gel and use my blow dryer so it wouldn't be wet . When my hair dried I it styled it half up and half down with two curls on the front of my head. Walking to my room to see the time , I finally seeing Cheryl text" just left home from see Ruben and everyone , and they all said Hi , but I know by now that you should at least be dress send me a picture ttyl " with a smiley face. Looking at the time it was getting late so I finish getting ready putting my dress on after adjusting it fitted better now,I picked up the jewelry on which was on the dresser which was bracelet's,rings, and earrings. I walked over to the closet to get my shoes and small clutch bag I had . Putting my shoes on I walked the the bathroom to put on some lotion for my tattoos to make the color stick out .

Looking in the mirror I was shocked the dress looked different,better even then when I tried on at the dress shop. Giving myself a once over I grabbed my phone and took a picture and sent it to Cheryl . I drop my phone in my clutch my grabbed my keys,my shear sweater and the gifts I got them and was out the door .The whole ride there Shiva didn't say a word to me but I knew she was present at the moment. Driving up to the house now decorated outside with lights, flowers and balloon gold and pastels colors . I parked behind the house so nobody's would not see me or worst the twins . Parking my truck getting out putting my sweater on the because it's windy out there . Looking around to see anyone, I walked to the back patio where my box was hiding . I called my Uncle to tell him" I am here at the backdoor kitchen " the only people who would see me is the caterers and a few pack members . A few seconds later my Uncle opens the door and the first thing I hear is the music coming of inside the house before he closes the door.  " Man ! It's loud in there " he said as he rubbed his ears.

I laughed and shook my head " Come on and help me before See's me " I said taking him to help me pull the wrapped up box out into the middle of the patio from its hidding spot . Pushing it and locking the wheels in place so I doesn't roll away he turned and said " We are glad that you came home this year the girls missed you more over the last few years and me and your aunt too" i can tell he was being truthful the look an his eyes say so. " It was time to come back, but to be honest things have ....." my words was cut short by my aunt opening the backdoor "What are you two out here talking about ?" she aksed " Nothing just  glad to be back home " i said and I knew I was lying, I'm going to talk to them later about a problem I was having . " Well we are glad your home and Gina is too" she said with a smile on her face . 

We talked a couple of minutes then " I think they are ready to cut the cake ! " One of the waiter yelled over the music. They both rushed inside and getting in the box pulling the lid over to close it I felt so nervous that Shiva woke up" Don't be so worried about it" she said reassuring me that everything is going to be fine . The longing I sat in the box the more my scent becoming stronger because I was nervous as hell even Shiva trying her best to clam me then ,I hear someone walking to the box then a knock letting me know it was my uncle or Aunt signal to let me know everyone was on the way to the patio . Then I heared the back doors open up and a ton of shoes walking out and the loud music cut off then I starting hear someone start singing happy birthday then everyone join an the song . I can smell Jeanie and Jade scent and it close to the box that i was afraid my scent would give me away and ruin everything ,but it didnt, then i heared them blow the candles out and everyone starts clapping and whisting . Then my Aunt stepped to the girls " We have gift for you girls to open first before midnight ,your Uncle and i thought that gift was so special to you two and it come to a surpise to us as too." she spoke to them to them but im just a earshot from them and my heart is racing like i am running a mathron , then a knock on the side the box from my Uncle  and i just froze . Shiva growled loudly at me to get out the damn box, then another knock , so i open the lid and rise from the box to see two very beautifull women with dark brown and one with blue eyes and ligthly tan skin  and another with hazel eyes fair skin both the same height and with very very tearier eyes " Well are you two just going to stare at me or are yall goin to say something" i said stepping out the box as soon as I did I was almost knocked to the ground . " When did you get here ?" They both asked " Two days ago " I chuckled " Where have you been staying " Jade asked " At the old house " I said walking to the patio doors with everyone else looking a bit shocked to see me . Walking in the of the house decorations are beautiful pastels colors balloons and ribbons, steamers . It was nice to see everyone and everything but I had to made a quick b line to the kitchen with the girls so we can talk and also I'm starving .

We walked in kitchen while I got a plate that was already made quickly stuffed the food into my mouth and "Mhmm " I moan with a a mouth full . I turned around and the girls laughed at me ,once I finished " I have not eaten anything today " I replied . " How have you guys been doing" I asked them " Great just waiting for graduation then I'm out of here " Jade said " Me too ,but minus leaving here part ,I am waiting to see who my mate is " Jeanie replied. Well I'm not surprised by either of their answers about their decision after high school plans " And what about college ?" I asked With furrow brows " Locally for me " said Jeanie with a smile on her face , I turned and looked at Jade " I haven't decided yet " she said making recall the last time we talked about her choices of college she got into . I just noded my head knowing it is her choice and I will be happy about her decision. Finished eating I grabbed a beer from the refrigerator popped the cap and took a jug of it .

" Pass me one dear " I Heard my Uncle said passing him the beer my aunt came rushing in the kitchen out of breathe , when she stop breathing so hard she finally said  " He is here ... the Alpha ... " I looked at the girl and their face said something about him" He doesn't come to parties, even if it at the pack house" Jeanie said " Just to the festival and etc stuff " Jade wave off with her hand , turning back to my aunt " Well it is a Birthday party with food and cake, so yeah I would think he come " I said tipping my beer up put it to my lips and shrugged " Either way you need to be on your best behavior, Katrina " my Aunt said looking directly to me knowing that I might say something to Alpha Kane to upset him in some way or fashion. " Okay " I said and rolled my eyes ,she just sighed and turned around to talk some catering that walked in asking about when they was going to cut the cake . When they walked out the door this strong scent hit me, it smelled so delicious I thought it was food in the kitchen but it was coming from the other side of the door. Walking over to the door I heard Jeanie ask " Where are you going off too" but I didn't reply because I was focused on the smell and where it come from . I pushed the door open a little bit to see, and by this time Shiva woke up looking around for the scent " it's our mate scent ,he is here " she said that I stepped back from the door . " No way !" I said to her  walking back to the counter to sit but before I could the door to the kitchen smashed open with enough force almost break it off the wall.

I looked at my sister's and Uncle expression on they face was a surprise , then his scent filled my nose and Shiva howled at him . I then I heard a growl from him behind me made my spine shiver a little I turned around to a man the size of the door he was standing in. I looked into his eyes while I was meet with the beautiful hazel color I have ever seen with scar on his left eye and dark hair to his shoulders and skin that looks like the sun kissed him. Then I heard my Uncle said " Hello Alpha Kane " . WHAT ! I mentally said.
