81 The Young Fiancée

Simon's POV

In the early morning, I knocked on the door to the bedroom with a tray of breakfast in my hands.

"Rebecca, are you awake? I brought you some breakfast."

Her response was still an angry shout, typical of a young girl. "Go away! I don't want to eat!"

"But you haven't had any meal for days."

I didn't leave but rather called out to the door with some concern, "You should eat something, Rebecca! I heard you like salmon sandwiches, so I prepared one for you..."

Before I could finish my sentence, the heavy wooden door in front of me suddenly swung open. Rebecca stood before me, her eyes filled with anger and sadness.

"I don't care who told you I like salmon sandwiches, but from today onwards, salmon sandwiches are the last thing I want!"

"Well, that's okay. I can prepare something else for you. How about seafood linguine? Or..."

I tried to be patient with my fiancée, but it was clear that Rebecca was not appreciative of my patience. In her eyes, there was still only anger.
