129 Reconciliation

Kayla's POV

When my vulnerability and tears were suddenly exposed in the bright light, I couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed. I struggled to break free from Harrison's embrace.

"So... it seems like the issues between us are resolved now, right?"

"In my opinion, not quite yet."

Harrison walked over to me with a feigned seriousness, pulling me back into his embrace. He then bent down, his deep and charming voice sounding in my ear.

"I'm still hoping you could try using other methods, like..."

Unexpectedly, Harrison stuck out his tongue and quickly licked the back of my neck. At the moment his tongue touched my skin, I trembled as if struck by an electric current.

Taking advantage of my distraction, Harrison reached out and unbuttoned my coat. The coat floated down to the ground, revealing the silk nightgown I was wearing.

"Harrison!" I quickly covered my dress with my hands, feeling shy. "What are you doing? I should go back!"
