Chapter 6: Busy man

The girl was sleeping soundly on the bed, her straight nose rose and fell with each breath, and her red, plump lips were extremely lovely. But the ringing of the phone ruined sleep and the charm that few people see.

Vera's eyebrows were tightly knitted, someone had called her early in the morning, she hadn't slept for a long time when she returned to the country with the time zone difference with the other party. Speaking out, people thought she was honorable, pretending that she had already arranged this and that after three days in a foreign country, but honestly she couldn't adapt on the first day. It took Vera very hard to follow her senses and press the right blue phone, she brought it close to her ear, and said in a languid voice: "I'm Vera Echanox, listen."

"Are you still sleeping? What time is it over there?" The person who spoke in English asked.

She is also 27 years old but she feels that she is not as good as Lenny when she feels that having the most precious thing is a happy family, she is not so lucky. She didn't mean to be jealous or anything, she just saw how unfair her life was. Thinking of Elias, Vera's warm blood boiled and eased her sleepiness somewhat, she looked at the time on her phone. It was almost 4 am, no wonder she felt so sleepy, before that she had toss and turn for almost an hour to fall asleep.

"Boss over here, the cock hasn't crowed yet. What advice do you have for calling me so early?" Vera asked in her standard English.

"Oh yeah? I don't know, I was just worried about you so I asked John to call you to see." There was a female voice on the other end of the line.

Vera smiled, feeling an indescribable warmth in her heart. She said, "It's okay. I thought you had an urgent matter. Thank you very much for asking Lenny. It's fine here, I just miss you and the two kids."

Lenny also laughed: "Hold on your time and come back here. Otherwise, I'll miss you so much I'll ask John to take you to visit you."

"There's nothing like that. Why don't you take your number and call?" Vera has only friend in foreign countries, Lenny, so when she said that she was coming to visit her, she couldn't help but be overjoyed.

The two talked for a while, then John by the way asked Vera to come see Elias quickly to discuss cooperation. She said that she knew and did not live up to her boss's expectations, and jokingly did this well and told her boss to take Lenny and two children over to play.

After talking on the phone, Vera couldn't sleep anymore, but her mouth was always yawning. Until it was time to work, she followed the address to Elias company, but meeting him was not simple at all.

"I'm so sorry, if you don't make an appointment in advance, you won't be able to meet your boss. This is the rule, so I can't go against it. Please forgive me." The receptionist hesitated to say.

"Do you mind telling your boss that I'm coming. My name is Vera."

But employees still reluctantly refused, because their boss was too cold, even a glance made them shut up, now if they talk unrelated, they will be punished like playing. Vera saw that it did not make it difficult for the staff anymore.

"So can you tell me he's free tomorrow?" Vera asked, at least if we can't see each other today, maybe tomorrow.

The employee was taken aback when Vera called her boss by his name, then shook her head: "Except on Sundays."

It was Vera's turn to be surprised, who is busier than the president? It was not easy to meet that man.

But Vera still did not falter, she stood outside, this was the right place to see who was coming in and out. There was a figure of Elias she would quickly stop. She did not believe the man who kept lurking in the office without stepping foot outside.

However, Vera miscalculated a step when she was exhausted and still did not see Elias, and her stomach was now drumming in protest. Apparently, he was told that he was in the office and still couldn't see where he was going, why is he always in his room like this with a tight schedule.

While Vera wanted to go home to find another solution, Elias finally went out, beside him there were a few other people. It is easy for people to see that they are discussing unfinished business.

"Okay. Let's come here today. Why don't you just look at the topography of that land and tell me anything." Elias said it was a bit of a stretch. It was past noon and he still hadn't rested.

"I see. It's embarrassing to bother you until now." One of the three men said.

"Don't say that. It's mutually beneficial. You guys go home carefully."

After entering, Elias was about to enter when he realized that there was a gaze on him, he did not hesitate to look directly at the other peeper, a bit surprised but his steps did not approach the girl, but coldly walked.  in. He has a lot of work to do, plus he still hasn't stopped being angry yesterday, so it's best to leave.
