Chapter 10: Refusing to stay for a meal

"You let me think and let you know later, okay?" Vera didn't know how to say it properly, so she made an appointment for the nearest day, she was afraid she would decide now if it was too soon that it would be embarrassing to say it again. It is best to still make an appointment, if it is okay, it will not be counted later.

For this kind of thing Elias knew that Vera couldn't think for a moment, it took a certain time to make the best decision, the more she did that, the more he appreciated her. His eyes on people never seem to be wrong.

"You just think about it carefully. If you have a result, then let me know in an hour, then we can talk about work." In the marketplace for many years, Elias knew when to be thin and when to be firm, and with Vera he should speak more softly.

Vera hastily bent down to pick it up, but Elias still saw what she brought, she prepared all the tools, but fortunately he didn't move his arms and legs, if he did anything, she would definitely skewer him sure.

"Fortunately, I haven't done anything to you, right? Otherwise you'll cut me up." Elias joked.

"I know that's good. Would you like to give it a try?" Vera suddenly had an idea to tease Elias, she turned on the electric stick and held it up before putting it in her pocket. "Well, I'll be back."

"Hey, why don't you just leave? Stay and have a meal with me." Elias quickly kept Vera, and now that he wants to go home, it is true to see how his house is.

Vera nodded but didn't say to stay or say goodbye, she walked out, obviously not staying, what do you think she was with someone she didn't like. At least right now, when they don't have any ties, it's hard to hate looking at their faces.

Elias quickly ran over and grabbed Vera's hand, saying: "Stay with me for a meal. Are you going to let yourself be as hungry as the day before? It won't be good for your stomach."

The first girl he kept and who he went to the water with. Elias has never humbled himself in front of anyone and now holds on to her like that, it's not enough that he already considers people to be the roof of his house.

Vera was no longer afraid of Elias, but the fact that he touched her still found it disgusting, so she was angry at that very thing.

"People don't like it, but don't hesitate to hold on? It's a talisman who knows how to laugh. Let go." Vera spoke a little loudly.

Elias is a man, so when Vera touched his self-esteem, even if he was in love with her, he was not old enough for him to let go of that self-esteem. He let go of her hand, and even as he passed her he touched her shoulder hard.

Vera couldn't believe Elias's attitude, just a moment ago he was holding onto her as if he was right, now he thinks she will pull her hand back or if she does, she will stay, for a long time, there but dream.

Vera remembered the other housekeeper leading her way, so she followed that memory, but the mansion was as big as a maze, so she lost her way. Until now, she had not seen anyone working to ask questions, when not needed, a whole group of companies greeted her as if they were joking with her.

At this moment, the phone was the most effective while she was lost in the deserted forest, knowing that she had stopped to eat and then let Elias take her out, now she has a thick face to make a phone call. However, the other end of the line did not receive a call from her, what do you mean? Are you doing it on purpose?

While Vera did not know which direction to go, a scent came, she followed the scent and saw someone, she happily ran to tell them to lead out, but did not expect that Elias was sitting at a table full of things. Eat, not to mention her stomach growling.  Honestly, she couldn't resist it. She just didn't have a good reason to sit at the dinner table yet. Suddenly she saw a phone next to Elias, so she immediately thought of a way.

"You are too much. I called so that you could have someone take me out without listening. I ate here alone while I was searching until I got here."

Vera smoothly sat at the table, but Elias didn't answer her, rather, he was eating calmly and coldly as if he was alone at the table. Vera was not so thick-skinned that other people didn't answer, she still sat and ate, she regretted the food that was better than the palace but stood up, swallowing her saliva to not reveal it to others.

"Can you stop for a moment and ask one of them to lead me out?" Vera pointed to the people standing nearby, just set it out for him to eat, don't need to wait, someone would still eat very well.

Once again there was no response to Vera, she knew Elias was mad at her about earlier but it was his fault, she couldn't blame her. Even so, now that she was at his house, he couldn't do anything, or else she couldn't even go home, she debited her one-time payment.

So Vera made a rigid apology, after a while she was also coldly asked by Elias to lead her out, she did not dare to look at those dishes, even holding her breath until she got to the gate. Vera kept saying that in her heart Elias was a good guy, turning his face faster than flipping rice paper, I don't know if she really had a disadvantage if she came here.

After standing for a while blaming Elias, Vera stomped her feet and left.
