"Whether you accept it or not, you must properly discipline that kid. If it wasn't me that went there today, I'm afraid he would bring more trouble to our family!" Madeline said in realization.

"What? That young man?" The middle-aged man could not help but recall Jason's face.

'What can he do?' The middle-aged man felt disbelief.

"There are always people in this world that you could not understand, nor could you afford to offend." Madeline glanced at Moss. Despite knowing that he felt dissatisfied with her actions, she was unable to lecture him too much. She felt that a simple reminder was enough for him.

"Bring me my glasses, and make me a cup of tea," Madeline said calmly.

"Yes." The middle-aged man lightly nodded.

Madaline put on her glasses, and there was a cup of warm tea placed on the table next to her. She was left alone in the serene surroundings.

It was difficult for her to read with her age. It would take her a lot of effort, but she was able to read slowly.
