Madison took a deep breath to keep her cool while she looked at the face-reddened Rainey. “Is that what you think of this?” She asked calmly.

Tears start to grow in her eyes. She had always worked hard to maintain the relationship between Jason and her family members. She was the one who begged Jason when Clark was in trouble. No matter what, she wishes to preserve this relationship; for them to use excuses like that only seems hypocritical. If they really wished for her best, they would treat Jason better. It’s hard for them to imagine how Madison felt, being caught between a rock and a hard place.

Thinking of Jason’s hardships for the past three years and that she tried her best to mediate on both sides, she felt that her efforts were not worth it.

“Did I say anything wrong? Didn’t you elevate your position?” Remy gritted her teeth stubbornly as she looked at the sobbing Madison.

She would not dare to do this to Jason, yet she could not stand seeing Madison’s prideful expression.
