*ATHENA'S POINT OF VIEW*

As soon as we entered his office, he turned to face me, his eyes blazing with fury.

“ What the hell has gotten over you, Athena?!" He roared angrily and his look of frustration on his face gladdened my heart. “ What exactly is your problem?!” He asked again but I didn't reply to his question.

My face was pale and emotionless, I was not going to let him manipulate me anymore.

“ Athena" he called again as he pinched the skin between his brows. “ I know you have donated so much plasma this month but I also make sure I compensate you for everything! What has gotten over you?!”

I was bubbling with anger, how dare him raise his voice at me?!

“ Let's get a divorce, Sebastian" I said coldly as I raised my head up to meet his icy gaze. I didn't want to have anything to do with Sebastian anymore. “ Let's get a divorce" I said again, my voice barely a whisper.

I raised my gaze, scanning Sebastian. His handsome face and green orbs had never for once looked at me with passion and interest ever since we got married, rather, he looked at me with pure hatred. What have I ever done to him?!

In the past, before I had this awakening, I used to be very careful with the way I acted or spoke around him. I was always scared of letting him know how I truly felt. But now, things were different, I was going to tell him how I felt to his damn face and I was not going to hold back my words any longer!

“ Athena…” Sebastian growled again. " Don't do this!”

" You wouldn't stop me!” I retorted.

" You are going to regret this decision of yours!” He said again, a sly smirk dancing on his lips. " Do you think you are the only one who can donate plasma?”

At this point, I was fed up with his heartless words. He didn't even feel remorseful and was still feeling as pompous as ever.

I was overwhelmed by anger and emotions. “ I'm fed up with this marriage!" I hollered at the top of my voice, my face twisting with anger and resentment. “ I'm fucking fed up! And yes, I don't think I'm the only one who can donate plasma, there are plenty of people out there!" I paused for a moment, trying to control my emotions.

" My regret was agreeing to this fucked up marriage! I'm clearly your puppet and not your wife!” I yelled again. I was very determined to end this marriage and my mind could not be much clearer.

"You're a wicked man, Sebastian!" I shouted. "You're worse than the devil!" My voice echoed off the walls of his office, and I didn't care who might hear me. I was beyond caring about anything but letting him know how I felt. I glared at him, my eyes burning with a fury I'd never known.

I bit down on my lower lips to hold back the tears that were threatening to roll down my cheeks, I didn't want to shed a single tear for Sebastian anymore.

“ I'm done," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

For minutes, the office became deadly quiet and suffocating. Neither I nor Sebastian said anything and he didn't even bother sparing me a glance.

After what felt like an eternity, I finally spoke up. “ we're gonna go and get the divorce documents right now,” I said Icyly.

The moment the words left my mouth, the office became eerily quiet. The light seemed to dim, and the air felt heavy and oppressive. I could feel the tension radiating off of Sebastian, and I knew I'd pushed him too far but I couldn't care less.

"Not until you go to the hospital," he said, his voice low and dangerous. I could tell he was trying to control his anger, but it was clear that he was barely holding himself together.

" Tsk!” I scoffed. " Ridiculous!” Even at the verge of divorce he didn't forget to use me one more time.

I raised my head and met his chilly gaze. “ Sebastian Stone" I called with a snarl. “ You never stop amazing me with every passing minute" I chuckled, but it didn't reach my empty eyes which never left Sebastian. " Now get this straight, I would never waste another plasma on that bitch, Sienna. I repeat, I would never! I don't care if she does or lives, she isn't my problem anymore!” I spat heartlessly.

Instead of crumbling in defeat, Sebastian's thin lips curved up into a victorious smirk. “ Seems like the condition of our marriage slipped your little mind, little wife" he snarled. “ Anyways, I'm gonna remind you. You agreed to donate plasma to Sienna whenever she needed it”

At that moment, I felt a pang of pain on my chest. It felt as though I was pricked with an arrow.

“ Oh" I muttered, smiling bitterly. " I forgot I was your personal plasma bank” the smile on my lips faded and a cold expression replaced it.

Although I looked at Sebastian with emotional eyes, his expression remained cold and unwavering.

“ Sebastian Stone" I spelled out his name. “ The contract is soon going to end once we sign the divorce papers, but not to worry, I would donate plasma to that bitch one last time" I declared, and with that, I stood up,

spun my heels and started walking out of the office.

ATHENA'S POINT OF VIEWI didn't wait for Demetrius to say anything and fortunately, he didn't follow me out either. “ Queen's hospital!" I said, hailing down a taxi that would take me straight to the hospital Siena was in. As the taxi drove to the hospital, I stared outside the window with a far away look. Telling Sebastian about the divorce was the best thing that had happened to me. I felt as though a heavy weight had been lifted off me, I felt free for the first time in six years of marriage with Sebastian. I was so lost in thoughts that I didn't know when the taxi driver stopped in front of the hospital. “ Ma'am, we're here” the taxi driver announced as the car came to a halt. I Jolted in shock at the sound of his voice but immediately composed myself. " Thanks” I muttered as I got down. I paid him the transport fare. Before driving off, he looked up at me with a pitiful look. " It's well” he said with a light smile as he drove off, which left me speechless for a while but

ATHENA'S POINT OF VIEW " oh Sienna Gonzalez '' I seethed. “ I know this is all you have ever wanted I your miserable life; to replace me as Sebastian's rightful wife but not to worry, congratulations, in a short time, you are gonna bear the title of Mrs Sienna Stone, legitimate daughter of the almighty stone's family” a bittersweet smile formed on my lips as those words left my mouth. I knew it was not going to be easy but this was what i wanted, this was the best decision I have ever made. " Stop saying nonsense, Athena” Sebastian groaned as he pinched the skin between his brows. " Don't!" I snapped, turning to face him as my eyes burned with fury. “ Don't you dare tell me that I'm saying nonsense, Sebastian, you don't have the right so I would advise you to watch your words!" Sebastian didn't reply to my outburst, his expression remained cold and unchanging as he lifted the printed picture up and stared at it once again. I glanced at Sienna, she shifted her gaze to Sebastia

ATHENA'S POINT OF VIEW Nothing much had changed about the Stone's mansion. It had the same terrifying yet intimidating look about it, the only difference was the time I spent away from it. Slightly I felt nervous, but I was no longer the same woman they had so cruelly maltreated years ago. Now, I was "Adeline's", that was my brand's name. I had built prestige and confidence in myself and I was even more confident about staring Sebastian Stone in the face. There were some familiar faces and some unfamiliar faces as we entered the house, our purpose was stated and we were granted access into the mansion. The first face I saw was one I dreaded, one I desperately wanted to tear down, Sienna. The shock on her face said alot."Athena!" Her pronunciation of my name came with an appalling tone which reflected surprise and disbelief. Yet, She couldn't even hide her distaste. I wasn't bothered by it, her surprise was enough for me."Sienna, fancy meeting you here after a long time. I see you

SEBASTIAN'S POINT OF VIEWHer face was exactly what I needed to see after a long morning at the office. Athena, her name still held a special place in my heart, only if she knew, but I could never allow her know how I truly felt. I gave her a thorough look over taking in her curves which were properly accentuated by the clinging of her dress. How could one woman look so good?"Can we please talk for a few minutes?" Sienna's voice cut through my thoughts."Yes, of course" I replied casually. We walked into the library for a brief talk."We can't work with her " Sienna confided in me."Why not?" I asked sounding as authoritavely as possible "What if she has returned to harm us? Remember how she left?" She replied and I could understand where she was coming from."Nobody can come in here and harm us, Sienna. Much less Athena" I replied"What if she tries to harm me?" Sienna asked."She won't and if she does, I'll take care of her personally." I replied assuring her"Don't forget, she w

ATHENA'S POINT OF VIEWA week had already passed, and my work at the mansion was still progressing, and for the past one week Sebastian and constantly showed up to supervise how the work was going. He personally came every single day, he probably didn't trust my expertise. I refrained from querying him about the money he had sent. These people were not going to get a reaction from me, meanwhile Sienna made it a point of duty to rub her engagement to Sebastian in my face. He had assigned her to other duties like food and drinks for the expected guests. This infuriated Sienna so much that she made it a point of duty to frustrate her team's efforts. Everyday she came with a new request, of it she didn't want the blood diamonds changed, she would request for more diamonds on an already finished piece. We went around in circles for days but I kept my cool. The cutting point was when my secretary and I got to the Greenhouse and found all the jewelries ripped. Her finished pieces had been

ATHENA'S POINT OF VIEW "How dare he?! Who in the world does he even think he is?!" I fumed as I barged into my room. "The effrontery Sebastian Stone!" I bellowed. He had always thought he owned me, like the mere breath I breathe was his to control. How dare he think that it was okay to hurt me after years of giving myself to him, and then wake up one day and remind me of it all. "How dare he?!"I paced up and down my room hoping for just enough breath to curse the existence of the man who ruined my life. A man who took my ability to live and tossed it into trash. Now he felt sorry, Sebastian Stone was sorry for hurting me? What a joke. Where were his ice cold shoulders now? And what did they hope to achieve by trying to make a fool of me? I had had enough of the Stone family, if this contract wasn't damn binding, I would have let it go already. Now I had to finish the stones and get out of this stupid city.I picked up my phone and it was another message from Sienna saying she had c

SEBASTIAN STONE'S POINT OF VIEW I received a call that night as I walked through the woods to the Mansion. Ever since someone broke into the Greenhouse and destroyed the replicas Athena had been working with, I began to be more conscious. As she walked home that night, I followed her, not because I thought she couldn't handle herself but because I knew something was wrong.Earlier as I did a full walk through of the Mansion grounds, my phone rang and the security at the gate said he had seen two men following Athena after she left the Mansion grounds.I decided to follow her immediately, and he wasn't wrong. If I hadn't gotten there in time, she would have been killed."What business did she have with the Black Moon Pack that made them want to attack her?" I wondered as I bandaged her arm while she slept. She lost alot of blood, and needed to rest. I wasn't going to leave her side until she was string enough.I watched her lashes flutter before they came open. How did I ever manage t

I asked, my body still hurting from the fight."We received a call from a new contractor this morning but she asked to speak to you directly, so I asked her to hold on while I put a call across to you" Valerie explained."Did she say why?" I asked."No Ma'am, she simply asked for you specifically. She said it's urgent and would prefer you handled it specifically" Valerie replied"What a strange request," I thought to myself. "Put her through" It only took a few minutes before the deep female voice sounded through my speaker."Athena Montgomery?" The voice said"Yes, that's

I curled in my beloved overstuffed chair while ribbons of blazing orange and crimsons bathed the old timber beams in warm, nostalgic colors.Though my face showed the wrinkles and lines from a very busy life, I felt an ageless tranquility cover me like a gentle, reassuring blanket. Once so brilliant and strong, my piercing blue eyes now reflected a calm ocean of earned knowledge and fulfillment.A faintly familiar smell of cedarwood and spice floated around as two strong, worn-out hands gently rested on my thin shoulders with learned sensitivity. Sebastian bent down to tenderly kiss my forehead, and I reached up to grab his palm. "You look so wonderfully calm, my eternal goddess," he said softly, his voice rasping but preserving that virile tone that still made my heart flutter after all these years. It was now my great responsibility as Athena and Sebastian's son and Jax my younger brother to educate this new generation those revered values and ancestral knowledge."You all know the significance of why we've convened here this night," I began, letting my rich baritone carry the whole weight of the occasion. From the roots of conflict and hardship Sebastian and I had lived, so much had blossomed. The den bathroom mirror flashed back a mature beauty, residual youthful brightness now enhanced by a royal, almost imperial posture. Laugh lines framed whole lips, showing a ten-year history of great happiness. My small, toned body nevertheless turned alpha heads. Now the perfect unity symbol I had created for that terrible Sienna embodied the purest spousal loyalty. The great light of our love had sterilized her deadly daggers of betrayal and evil. Virgin and pure like the earth before the embrace of civilization's development, a real paradise unspoiled by human efforts. As we first viewed the panoramic sight, Sebastian's calming presence at my side helped me. From this distance, the promise of refuge emanated from the very ground itself - a rich, earthy scent that piqued my increased lupine senses. Hendrix POVI waited in the hole for the packs to react to my suggestion in great silence. The choice of whether to leave our ancestral house felt like a millstone around every lupine throat. It was against every strand of our beings to uproot our whole lives and to turn our backs on the places that had protected us for ages. Still, the hard fact of cold could not be overlooked the human world was invading far too much of our land. If we stayed, exposure and the carnage that would surely follow seemed like an increasingly certain fate. The alphas started nodding their terrible assent one by one. First was Drystan, with his sharp but firm rugged features. The grizzled warrior understood the great need of this circumstance after seeing enough cycles of violence and death.
