Being hurt with a silver weapon didn’t only make you bleed, it made the pain feel like liquid fire was being poured into your body. Your injury didn’t just hurt, it burned. When I saw Asher, he was still a little bit far from me, so even though he was currently after me, I had a head start but what worried me now was the thought that he was going to catch me.
