Chapter 34: The Only Way

DARIAN’S POV

I held my sword as I waited for Demian to return from the Foghill pack. They were the closest pack to ours, and I heard they were among the packs who tried to bring us down the moment they heard that my father was weak. Demian had gone there to kill all of them. They were a pack whom we had helped countless times, not knowing that one day they’d repay our kindness with evil.

But even though Demian had gone there to do justice for what they had done to our pack, my anger was bubbling out of the kettle for him. For taking the life of our own father, I was going to bring him to justice as well.
