Chapter fifty

Alpha Damon’s gaze narrows as he processes the information. The air seems to thicken with unspoken pressure. He stares hard at Ethan, wondering if the boy is also a spy.

“May Thompson…isn’t that the name of the spy, who threw Myst Blossom in your eyes, Alpha?” Katarina interjects, joining them in the corridor.

Damon observes Ethan's eyes glint with confusion, then shock. He shakes his head in disbelief. “No, May isn't capable of that. She hangs out with weird people but she will never hurt the Alpha,” he affirms.

“Weird people. Like Vampires?” Damon asks, his cold sending shivers down the teenage boy’s spine.

Ethan composes himself, his expression hardening. He slowly nods, “She’s in love with one of them. She won't listen to my advice,” he shrugs, even though his wavering voice shows his concern.

“Ethan, do you know your sister is a spy? She harmed Damon. Risked my life, and almost caused my brother to lose his arm. How can such a person be your sister?” Lana speaks, her melancholy
