I know Brendan doesn't trust Sterling as far as Dee goes but he can medically as I believe that Sterling would help Brendan for Dee's sake if he found out that Brendan is being influenced beyond Brendan's control.

He should suspect something on those and want to have himself check out over it. I hope he goes to a doctor that Emily and whoever is behind all this can't get to like Sterling and that doctor casts suspicion onto Emily so Brendan can and does find out what Emily is really doing.

This chapter is a good start. I was hoping that Brendan would start getting suspicious of Emily when Fionn told him. However, it is plausible for Brendan not to suspect Emily yet but it is not plausible for him to ignore the fainting and memory loss.
