Ivy's POVThe tunnel underneath the floorboards is darker than anything I’ve ever known. I follow Spencer and Beta Wilson down the stairs, keeping one hand against the wall so I don’t lose track of where I am. The stairs are steep, and the stone they’re made of is crudely carved and rough. We spend maybe fifteen minutes descending in dreary silence, until suddenly Beta Wilson and Spencer stop.
