5-Sick

Eric POV.

While my mate took care of the little one washing her, I went to do my calls, although we are alphas and the most dominant wolves around here, we have no clue on how to deal with a kitten, our pack never had one. We know the general things about them, but not how to deal with them, for that I decided to call a fellow wolf, Alpha Sebastian, the father of a little Neko, he raised him since the day he was born until the day he got mated and moved away, well his mate moved in really.

It was a bit too late to call him but Neko are sensitive, I want my kitten to be happy, safe, and healthy if that means annoying my friend in the middle of the night then be it. He answered the phone right away, his answer was to ask if something is wrong with me first.

"Nothing wrong, we have a new addition to the family," I say.

"Should I say congratulation to Lola then? How did you manage that? I remember her threatening to cut your dick off if you tried to get her pregnant" he says with a laugh, I had to shake my head at that, he's right Lola did do that.

"We actually got a kitten," I say all proud of myself, the words I never thought I'd say.

"That's wonderful! Congratulation" he answers through the phone, but that's not the only reason I'm calling him.

"Well thank you, but you know there's the small problem of us not knowing anything about kittens, she's dressed in my hoodie right now, you know," I say trying to explain how bad things are around here.

"I'll be there by the morning," he says.

"Great thank you" I answer him before ending the call with him.

I moved back to our room to see all three of my mates sitting around the small bundle in the middle of the bed, she had another one of my hoodies on her. It was late, my friend won't be here until early morning, we should just all go to sleep.

"All of you sleeping here?" I ask them, Lola and I always share this room but Deven and Evan have their own rooms too, sometimes we sleep together, others we don't.

"I'm staying," Evan says cuddling closer to Lola having first seat view of the sleeping kitten now, Deven didn't seem to be in the mood to leave either, I pulled him toward my side of the bed and got in, the kitten was deep asleep for now, she didn't mind us joining in the bed, she stayed asleep until the early morning.

It was early morning when the kitten woke up, she was coughing, badly, Lola's eyes opened looking at the kitten all worried, I picked her out of the bed, pulling her into a sitting position while she kept coughing until she vomited, whatever Lola fed her last night was now all over her clothes and our bed, making the kitten cries even worse.

"I'll wash her," Lola says taking her out of my arms, I moved to change my clothes, by the time I was done my friend have come over, finally help is here!

I ran downstairs to meet with him, I need his help especially with her sick episode this morning, I opened the door for him and started a new fresh pot of coffee, I offered him one and sat down with him for a talk.

"Now tell me about the kitten" my friend asks.

"You know about the people who smuggle kittens?" I say between gritted teeth.

"Did you buy them from smugglers?" my friend asks concerned.

"No, I saved her" I say all proud of myself, but now how to deal with her.

"That's good, you looking for a new house for her, or..." he says but I cut him off halfway through, I'm not giving her up, not ever.

"She's ours" I growl at him, he just nods.

"Then what would you need from me?" he asks, that's the tricky part.

"We have no history about her, she was sick this morning, our experience with kittens is near null" I say with a sigh, I'm not shy of asking for help.

"How about I meet the princess and tell you all of my expertise after raising Daniel" he says, that's exactly why I need him.

"That's perfect, I'll go get them" I say going to call for Lola, the kitten, and the others too, help is here finally.
