[SANDRA]

Walking past her past, Sandra hadn't expected to gel conflicted even for a moment. She had thought that everything by then would have been easier to deal with, but then it was always going to be easier if she faced it a few more times right?

Seeing everyone watching her, Sandra walked with her head high. She didn't increase her pace nor did she slow done, even though a part of her wanted to ask the alpha if he was okay.

Granted Aztec looked fine as hell this morning but still there was a frown on his face, and a smirk on Broderick’s face, a reminder that all of this had just never been forced on him. Well, it didn't matter now, did it?

"Are you okay?" Gemma asked when they reached the parking lot. Sandra breathed out a sigh of relief as she looked at the ice cream in her hands. She just nodded at Gemma and opened the car door.

She had things to worry about and Aztec Marshall was definitely not one of them. Gemm could sense the change in her sister so she figured it was a

[SANDRA]"Oh Gemma, You’re here early,” a voice greeted when Gemma and Sandra walked into the first warehouse. It was an old building on the outside, a building that seemed to be on its last straw. Anyone could assure that the county municipality was feeling terrible for the warehouse owner and so decided not to bring down the building as if it was the last wish of the owner. It looked terrible really, that anyone who walked past the warehouse could have easily assumed that the building would come down on itself. Maybe that was also why there were no markings whatsoever, save for the title, 'Vengeance Avenue' which was written on the building. That was the only marker to make it known that this was actually something someone was hoping to revive. However, when Sandra and Gemma got in, Sandra's jaw visibly hit the ground from the extreme contrast between the interior and the exterior of the building. The interior of that warehouse was everything Sandra Franzel had wished for when

[SANDRA]"Where are we going?” Sandra asked as she looked at her sister who was determined to give her an exciting tour. Getting out of the warehouse could only mean that there was more that needed their attention. Sandra had had a beautiful day today and no matter what happened later, she was content with how the day had been, she didn't mind doing whatever it took this time, because there were so many things that were at stake."To the Franzels,” Gemma said, a sinister smile on her face as she talked of the name that Sandra hadn't wanted for what for so long. The Franzels had been the root of all this and going to them was not what Snadra had planned for today. Maybe once everything was over, she would find a way to make things better."Why?” Sandra dared to ask even though she had a feeling that she wasn't going to like whatever answer her sister gave her. The Franzels were the one bunch of people Sandra had been thinking of for a long time, but she hadn't wanted to see them agai

[SANDRA]When they left the warehouse at downtown Adamera, Sandra had so many worries. She was right though, because it was in the middle of the day and the only thing that was in her mind was to find a way to integrate herself with the Stevens employees. She wanted to make her appearance, but at the same time, she wanted to be ready for whatever was coming at her. She didn't want to be put in a position where she would have to fight for everything she levied for. She was ready to go anything, but damn, she was curious of what gemma was pining for the Franzels."Are we going home or to the office?” Sandra asked and Gemma just smiled at her, because he stepped on the gas. It wasn't clear where they were headed, but when they reached the city, Sandra could tell that this was the craziest idea Gemma Stevens had ever come up with. Today was not even the end of the week yet, which could only mean that the Franzels would be at the office, if not the lens trying to work on their medicines

[SANDRA]"Aren't those the Stevens sisters?” one of the people at the Franzel headquarters said when Sandra and Gemma walked out of their car and headed towards the main enhance. They already knew that they were probably going to be a spectacle for a long time, so they could at least wallow in it while they wanted to see what was happening."Yes they are. I wonder what they are doing here,” another responded, but the two sisters didn't pay any attention to anyone. Instead, they nodded respectfully to the guard at the entrance before they walked to the reception. The fact that Sandra Franzel had been known as the Franzel daughter in the company for long, they all down she had access here. So they didn't even bother asking so many questions."Good morning Ridha, are my parents in?” Sandra greeted the receptionist who was still taking in Sandra's form. The woman was a goddess, but one filled with anger. Right here and now, anyone who saw her was pulled in by her beauty and her charms.

[SANDRA]"Let's go, Gemma,” Sandra said, making her best friend look at her worriedly. Gemma Stevens was ready to walk to Mary and ask her what she had done, but then she noticed that Sandra was having a neutral face. She was neither angry nor was she happy. Instead, it was almost like she was sleeping up a font and that was something that happened when she had nothing to say. It was almost a face that never showed in the past five years but maybe meeting her mother had been overwhelming. Sure, they could fool the public and create an appearance that people would think that she didn't need the Franzels, but those people had been her family for over a decade. They had loved her in their own wicked way and while it hadn't been comforting, Sandra had managed to come this far because of them, whether it was good or bad."Alright then, let's go home,” Gemma said as they walked towards the parking lot, ignoring people who suddenly seemed so interested in their lives. There were paparazz

[SANDRA]For the rest of the day, the two sisters got busy on their own. While Gemma was out there meeting with her long-time contact, Sandra was doing her homework about the Stevens industries. She was going through the possible scandals and chaos that could have arisen in the company before she got in. She was getting ready in the one way that could easily be used against her; she was searching for the public opinion on the industry and so fast. She had found nothing that would make her get dragged down; she had learned about her departments, and every little thing that she would need. She learned about what she needed to do and by the time she was done, Sandra had made her choice. She was going to be an intern at the intelligence department. Sure, Gemma had already told her that was the part that fit her best, but she had wanted to figure that out herself. She had her suspicions about fitting in and frankly, she couldn't deny the fact that intelligence was a sticky department.

[SANDRA]By eight o'clock, Sandra Franzel was awake and back at Gemma’s study. She hadn't had much sleep but then it was like that was a pleasure she could afford at the moment, she needed to get everything in motion and right now, she needed to catch up on her research. The intelligence books she had read last night gave her much information, but she still needed more. And she was going to get it. So for the next three hours, Sandra focused on her research, making sure to dot the i’s and cross the t’s and soon enough she had adequate information on the Stevens industries. She managed to finish just in time when Gemma woke up too."You’re crazy. Did you even get some sleep?” Gemma accused, and Sandra just let out a laugh. She was currently in the kitchen trying to make herself some coffee. She hadn't eaten last night and while it was a bad idea for her to start the day with coffee, she wanted to be alert throughout the day. Then again, they are going to be testing weapons today an

[AZTEC]"She agreed to meet with me,” Alpha Aztec Marshall said to Rodrigo who was watching him in silence. The man had been overthinking from the moment the text had come through and hearing it from Aztec was just the confirmation he needed to know that the woman had a hold on his alpha for a long time. He was somewhat happy though, because Sandra had become the only reason Aztec did most of the things he did lately. He had sobered up, prepared for a new reality in which these two were to face each other, though he hoped that it would all be okay."Well that’s better, because you were a little too close to squashing the poor phone in your hands. Get ready, brother, this is not going to be as easy as the other times. “She had a title now, she has someone to protect her, and she had nothing holding her back,” Rodrigo said and Aztec just sighed. He had been thinking about Sandra for a while now and he wanted to make things right with her. Granted, he knew he had screwed up more than

[AZTEC] "He divorced me, remember?” Sandra argued and Rodrigo just let out a deep chuckle."Divorced you? Girl, you’re everything to him. You even have shares in your name at the house of Marshall. If anything he gave you the second largest shares in the company and even had an asset finance account for you. “If he really divorced you, and if that was just alimony then why did he take his time to make sure that it was in the right spot? Why would he pay too much attention to the little details and keep everything the way it needed to be then? “He worships you, Gina. He believed in you and you are everything to him. Even after the year ended, he never filed for a divorce. Instead, he bought properties and put them in his name and yourself. “He said that he was hoping that maybe someday, if he never met you again, maybe the finances and the wealth in your name would be enough of an apology for what he did to you. [AZTEC]“Sir, do you need anything?” a nurse said, as she tapped Aztec who was sleeping on the cold benches. For the rest of the day, the young Marshall had not even gotten up, let alone even making a move from where he had been laying. He had stared at the same spot, waiting and listening. He had heard when the general came to his daughters and even when the general checked out. He had heard the hospital was scheduled and frankly him being there worried people a lot. He looked tired and fatigued even though he had been sleeping."No, I’m alright, thank you,” Aztec said as he went back to sleep. He was hungry and hadn't eaten shit in so many hours. He had been too busy worrying about Sandra and Gemma and he couldn't even think of something else. "But sir, you’ve been sleeping here the whole day. Are you okay? We did notice that your temperatures are alternating rapidly. Please let us take care of you. “Besides, you are in the hospital and it wouldn't be fair if we let you suffer e

[AZTEC] For hours, Aztec Marshall sat in the hospital waiting room on the ground floor, while his wife and Gemma were on the third floor. He wanted to go to them, but he was also worried that he would be a little too possessive of his mate and they would send him away. He didn't want to do that to them and he didn't want to be kicked out of the hospital. He was going to be diligent, even though he could see people taking photos of him. Thanks to his popularity and everything that related with his life, Aztec had become an internet topic. Everyone was gushing over him for being brave and wanted to thank him in person, and on the other hand, he was cuddled up on one of the waiting benches, sick and tired. He hadn't slept in weeks and he didn't remember the last time he ever slept. His nights and days were filled with Sandra, though it was somewhat heartbreaking that the woman he wanted so much hated him."Where are my daughters?” General Stevens came to the hospital a few hours afte

[AZTEC] The nation was busy, everyone was having all eyes on the Franzels and the Marshalls. There were so many things happening at the same time, but none of them could have prepared anyone for the impact that Sandra Franzel had on them all. For starters, she had been the reason Scarlet had been murdered by Aztec, an act that would eventually be investigated, but the chances of the Franzels coming out and saying that their alpha was the one who had murdered their daughter were close to none. They had betrayed their alpha first and that was grounds for treason in the werewolf culture. They didn't stand a chance. They knew that they didn't have any other option left because with Aztec Marshall, it was either death or death. Nothing else came in between especially when it came to the Luna he was still hoping to bring to his side. The alpha was raging, there were explosions which also meant that the military was eventually going to be involved."Gemma, don't leave this hospital. I wil

[AZTEC]It wasn't daily that explosions were experienced in one of the most secure buildings in the city of Adamera, not to mention the sheer fact that Sandra, Aztec’s ex had been the one targeted. That wasn't coincidence, and even the blind to the situation could see it all too. It was crazy, because everyone knew not to go against Aztec Marshall."I will take care of her well. I always have,” Logan said, making Aztec grit his teeth. He didn’t like Logan and frankly the same could be said for the medical personnel too. He wasn't a fan of Aztec from the moment he and Gemma had learned that Sandra was being forced into a contract marriage with the man. Of course as usual they had tried to give Sandra options but then her parents had been insistent, and Sandra had also figured that there was no point in trying to run away from her horrible reality. That was because no matter what she did, she would always come back to that point of helplessness. She never wanted to burden her friends

[AZTEC]"I'll kill them,” Aztec managed out when he reached the company and saw the explosion. He could still see the damage there. The pavements were filled with wish shards, and the car had been blown to bits. Everyone was checking on everyone, and those that were hit by the shards were trying to get some medical care. There were still no paramedics, save for the pack members who had come to help the people who had been hurt. It had been a command by the pack’s beta, Rodrigo and so far, they were doing so well. Everyone seemed busy, and Gemma was studying the car for anything and everything that could tell them who their attacker was. She was checking where the explosion had started from and what had happened. Sure she knew that someone was trying to send a message, but even in her state, she was hoping that she could be of help to the people there.“I’ll kill them all,” Aztec whispered agAin as he took in the sight before him.
