"Mom! I've run out of money, transfer me $200,000!" A shrill voice snapped Mary out of her emotional breakdown about Sandra; she was too stressed about the girl and thought that she wouldn’t let the alpha give them the money they so desperately needed.

She instinctively looked at her husband, hoping to the goddess that the Doctor had some solution to their crazy child’s desires.

"What?” Mary asked, unsure of what she had expected from her daughter.

"I need more money, mom!”

"You can’t be serious right now, Scarlet. Why are you out of money again and at this time of the year?!'' Mary asked disbelievingly, pausing her steps. They were currently walking back to their estate which was a few blocks away from the old Marshall estate.

She had given Scarlet a lot of money ever since the woman had disappeared on her wedding day, and now she was calling for more money. Damn, this girl was something else.

"Hey, how can that little money be enough? I've lived away from home for a while

"Are you fucking crazy? Do you want to die so badly?!” A voice yelled, snapping Sandra out of her trance. Her blood was whirring so fast in her body, that all she could see was a starry night. She felt her legs weaken and all the air leave her lungs, from the shock that she was almost hit by a van. She wasn't sure what she needed to do, so when she heard the voice, she just closed her eyes for a moment, to regain her composure. She knew she looked crazy, considering there was a man yelling at her, saying things that she wasn't even interested in. All this time, she only had one thought, her damned sister. Her head hurt suddenly and she put her head in her arms before squatting, on the sidewalk to regain her composure. She hated what had happened to her, and wished there was another way out of this. She had been too preoccupied with everything that was happening that she had forgotten that she had a life to live too. "Dammit, are you even listening to me?” the voice kept yel

Now that Scarlet was back in town, she could get her identity back and wouldn't have to live as her ungrateful sister. She looked like she was thinking on overdrive and Aztec wasn't the least bit elated by that. He had saved her, the least she could do was appreciate the gesture, no? "I have just saved your life, don't you want to say something to me?" Aztec said to Sandra in the same tone she was using with him. He was disappointed, but he knew she was startled and maybe that's why she was in that state, but what if it was because she just didn't want to see his face? "Fine, thank you," Sandra said expressionlessly, her mind while elsewhere. She couldn't believe what had just happened and wished she could get an explanation. Aztec on the other hand looked satisfied with Sandr’s response and smiled at her, making her an offer. "Do you want to have lunch with me?" “No. I still have work and you have work too. Besides, you have no business being here at this time,” Sandra said befor

The morning was beautiful, with the sun finding its way above the horizon a little earlier than planned. The once chilly weather was welcoming the warmth and the clouds were making way for the clear sky. At the Franzel house, the parents were already up, and had managed to do their duties as early as possible for the sake of the visitors they would have today. The maids had everything neat, and the house was perfected to the point that anyone would think they were expecting a king. The Franzels may have outdone themselves, but they were proud of the setting. However, they were still worried about their daughter who hadn't shown up despite the agreement with Mary. This was all a gamble, and if Scarlet didn't join the table, then the gamble would be for nothing and the Franzels would once again lose everything they thought was important to them. "I don't think she will come,” Doctor Franzel said when the clock hit half past nine that morning. He wasn't impatient, but he knew his

Lunch did come by fast and right on time, the Marshall Alpha and his Luna made a show. Of course, Sandra had thought a lot about her mother’s insistence on the damn lunch, but when she saw Scarlet at home, she knew what they would try to do. She was hoping that the transition be fast, but first, she needed to talk to Scarlet and sort things out. She needed an explanation from her sister about why she was forced to endure a life that wasn't even supposed to be hers. Sandra was pissed and once again, Aztec noticed. One thing he had noted was that Sandra’s family gave her serious anger issues."Come on in,” Mary said and Sandra just forced a smile as she respectfully yet coldly responded, "thank you, mother.”"Hello Sandra, it’s been a while,” Sandra greeted Scarlet, her own name making her want to puke considering the person she was referring to. This family had the ability to make her angry by simply existing but Sandra would try and see things to the end of the fiasco anyway."Hello

“Do you regret running away from the marriage now?" Sandra continued when she saw the mini-shock on Scarlet’s face even though she had seen that face one too many times. It was the face that proved to Scarlet once again how dumb she had been to make a stupid decision again. Here and now, Sandra was genuinely curious as to whether Scarlet felt bad for ditching her wedding."That, is none of your business, sister,” Scarlet said, straining out the word sister like it was poison on her lips. Life had brought them together and she had made her sister a helpless creature bound by so many chains and yet for some reason, she wasn't even complaining about the fact that her sister had been forced to replace her. The only thing that mattered to dear Scarlet was the fact that the Alpha was handsome, what a wimp.“You're lucky to be married to such a handsome man anyway!" Scarlet added sarcastically like her heart wasn't aching tenfold. She hated that she was a mess and had been a little too fo

That afternoon, Scarlet was the first to show up at the Gilmore cafe. She had a lot on her mind and wanted to find better ways of getting Sandra away from the man meant for her. It was a crazy idea even for her, but the fact that her mother hadn't given her any money in the name of the Alpha, had pissed her off so much. Then again, she hadn't even stayed till dinner to know whether she would be getting the money or not. 'I could have had the Alpha and yet I’m stuck with an omega, what a joke,’ Scarlet thought to herself as she waited for her boyfriend. Alfred was a young and handsome man who fascinated Scarlet in all the ways possible. She loved him too much but clearly, she loved money and power more. Her greed and lust for a better life had forced her to come to this cafe and now that she thought about it, it wasn't exactly a bad idea. After all, she always wanted to be with the powerful in society. Ten minutes later Alfred walked through the Gilmore doors, looking handsome a

When they had come from the Franzels, Aztec had decided to take Sandra to a restaurant instead of gig home or even the company as he had said he had business to do. So being the woman that she was, Sandra questioned her husband, considering his new attitude was scaring her more than the times when he blatantly told her to her face that he would always love Beatrice. It was always easier dealing with an enemy you knew but this time, this woman didn't know whether Aztec was playing games with her, and that scared the shit out of her."Why are we here for dinner? Didn’t you say you had stuff to take care of at the house of Marshall or was that just an excuse?” Sandra asked and the Alpha just smiled at her, while he looked at the menu, like he was so famished. For people who had just eaten at the Franzels, either they had an appetite or Aztec was trying to lighten up Sandra’s mood, considering she had barely eaten at her house. This man was giving her mixed signals and she hated it so

"What exactly do you want to say?" Alpha asked impatiently as he looked at the woman before him. He was supposed to be in love with her and maybe he was, but why was he feeling terrible for leaving Sandra at that diner alone? Why did he feel like the biggest asshole in the history of assholed? Damn, the Alpha wanted to get out of here but he wanted to know what Beatrice had found out about Sandra. Aztec had himself to his beta to look into Sandra and now that Beatrice was saying she had something for the Alpha, it had to mean something then again, why did she even investigate Sandra? Or did his best friend tell her? Well, Rodrigo may have been an emotionless beta but he knew better than to betray Aztec. That would equal a death sentence for him and the Alpha everyone was scared of would surface. "Be quick about it, I have places to be tonight,” Aztec said and Beatrice just let out a huff. She had hired someone to investigate Sandra a few days ago and the secrets she had found

You even have shares in your name at the house of Marshall. If anything he gave you the second largest shares in the company and even had an asset finance account for you. “If he really divorced you, and if that was just alimony then why did he take his time to make sure that it was in the right spot? Why would he pay too much attention to the little details and keep everything the way it needed to be then? “He worships you, Gina. He believed in you and you are everything to him. Even after the year ended, he never filed for a divorce. Instead, he bought properties and put them in his name and yourself. “He said that he was hoping that maybe someday, if he never met you again, maybe the finances and the wealth in your name would be enough of an apology for what he did to you. [AZTEC]“Sir, do you need anything?” a nurse said, as she tapped Aztec who was sleeping on the cold benches. For the rest of the day, the young Marshall had not even gotten up, let alone even making a move from where he had been laying. He had stared at the same spot, waiting and listening. He had heard when the general came to his daughters and even when the general checked out. He had heard the hospital was scheduled and frankly him being there worried people a lot. He looked tired and fatigued even though he had been sleeping."No, I’m alright, thank you,” Aztec said as he went back to sleep. He was hungry and hadn't eaten shit in so many hours. He had been too busy worrying about Sandra and Gemma and he couldn't even think of something else. "But sir, you’ve been sleeping here the whole day. Are you okay? We did notice that your temperatures are alternating rapidly. Please let us take care of you. “Besides, you are in the hospital and it wouldn't be fair if we let you suffer e

[AZTEC] For hours, Aztec Marshall sat in the hospital waiting room on the ground floor, while his wife and Gemma were on the third floor. He wanted to go to them, but he was also worried that he would be a little too possessive of his mate and they would send him away. He didn't want to do that to them and he didn't want to be kicked out of the hospital. He was going to be diligent, even though he could see people taking photos of him. Thanks to his popularity and everything that related with his life, Aztec had become an internet topic. Everyone was gushing over him for being brave and wanted to thank him in person, and on the other hand, he was cuddled up on one of the waiting benches, sick and tired. He hadn't slept in weeks and he didn't remember the last time he ever slept. His nights and days were filled with Sandra, though it was somewhat heartbreaking that the woman he wanted so much hated him."Where are my daughters?” General Stevens came to the hospital a few hours afte

[AZTEC] The nation was busy, everyone was having all eyes on the Franzels and the Marshalls. There were so many things happening at the same time, but none of them could have prepared anyone for the impact that Sandra Franzel had on them all. For starters, she had been the reason Scarlet had been murdered by Aztec, an act that would eventually be investigated, but the chances of the Franzels coming out and saying that their alpha was the one who had murdered their daughter were close to none. They had betrayed their alpha first and that was grounds for treason in the werewolf culture. They didn't stand a chance. They knew that they didn't have any other option left because with Aztec Marshall, it was either death or death. Nothing else came in between especially when it came to the Luna he was still hoping to bring to his side. The alpha was raging, there were explosions which also meant that the military was eventually going to be involved."Gemma, don't leave this hospital. I wil

[AZTEC]It wasn't daily that explosions were experienced in one of the most secure buildings in the city of Adamera, not to mention the sheer fact that Sandra, Aztec’s ex had been the one targeted. That wasn't coincidence, and even the blind to the situation could see it all too. It was crazy, because everyone knew not to go against Aztec Marshall."I will take care of her well. I always have,” Logan said, making Aztec grit his teeth. He didn’t like Logan and frankly the same could be said for the medical personnel too. He wasn't a fan of Aztec from the moment he and Gemma had learned that Sandra was being forced into a contract marriage with the man. Of course as usual they had tried to give Sandra options but then her parents had been insistent, and Sandra had also figured that there was no point in trying to run away from her horrible reality. That was because no matter what she did, she would always come back to that point of helplessness. She never wanted to burden her friends

[AZTEC]"I'll kill them,” Aztec managed out when he reached the company and saw the explosion. He could still see the damage there. The pavements were filled with wish shards, and the car had been blown to bits. Everyone was checking on everyone, and those that were hit by the shards were trying to get some medical care. There were still no paramedics, save for the pack members who had come to help the people who had been hurt. It had been a command by the pack’s beta, Rodrigo and so far, they were doing so well. Everyone seemed busy, and Gemma was studying the car for anything and everything that could tell them who their attacker was. She was checking where the explosion had started from and what had happened. Sure she knew that someone was trying to send a message, but even in her state, she was hoping that she could be of help to the people there.“I’ll kill them all,” Aztec whispered agAin as he took in the sight before him.
