Why couldn’t I get that meathead out of my mind? For the thousandth time, I rub my wrist, recalling just how his touch made me feel. It was silly, but I couldn’t get the feeling of the sensation that ran through me to go away.

The wolf inside me paced, she too was enamored by the Renegade Alpha’s touch. It wasn’t like anything I had ever experienced before.

My father was angry at my behavior, and I was still angry with him. Why in the fuck did he think it was a good idea to show weakness and beg like he did.

And as for that arrogant meathead, well we didn’t need him anyway. The sad truth was, we did need him and his renegades. The alternative was to be mated with Creepy Crane who wanted to combine our packs.
