Chapter 75

Ethan stood at the edge of Moonlit Meadow, where the soft light of the moon made him look like he was from another world. He couldn't get over the fact that Amelia wasn't who she said she was. It had shaken him to his core and left him torn between the past and an unknown future.

"Amelia," he whispered, and the soft breeze swept the sound away. He had to find her so he could ask her about the secrets she was keeping. But how could he do that without making her never want to talk to him again?

As he thought about what to do next, he heard something in the nearby woods. He tensed up, and his wolf reflexes went into overdrive. He felt his heart skip a beat when a figure came out of the shadows.

"Gabriel," Ethan said in a voice that was angry and sad at the same time.

Gabriel Rivers walked out into the moonlight with a look that was both sad and determined. "Ethan, we need to have a talk."
