I had a feeling. The day I feared the most had finally come — a day when Zeve would no longer need me.

“Do you realise what you are saying? Do you know what will happen if you do that?”

I took a deep breath, trying to cool the temperature that was subtly heating our conversation.

So, I know the rumours are spreading among the public every second. If the pack public revolts, the chaos would be worse than the one during the bomb attack.”
