255. Depression is miracle

[Zeve’s POV]

After the tea party, I went back to the training grounds where Hecate was still with Killian. They were just sitting on a wooden bench with a towel around each of their necks.

“Celeste,” I called out. She looked back and then got up, and so did Killian.

“Lady Zeve,” Hecate said. “Pardon me. It’s Luna now, I suppose.”

I smiled, “are you Celeste or Hecate?” I asked.

“Hecate, your highness. Celeste needs some time,” Hecate said nervously.

“Were you practising with Killian?” I asked, looking at Killian. He lowered his gaze and nodded once.

“I will take my leave now, luna,” Killian said.

“No. No need. You can stay here,” I said with a smile. “Since you are her friend, I think you know her much better than I do. So, please stay. She will be at ease if you do, isn’t it, Hecate?” I asked.

“Uh, yeah. I think it would be better with you here,” she said, looking at Killian.

“If that’s what you and luna want,” Killian said. He wiped off the bench with his towel. “Please sit, luna.”
