"The council might claim to accept us," I cut him off again. "But we know that many packs will always see us as the outsiders."

"Let me finish!" I dragged my gaze from Charles and pinned it on Enrique. He grumbled under his breath, but he went silent. "The council is going to answer all of our calls immediately. If we need more warriors, the council will provide."
