CHAPTER 135

AS THE SUN went down, vampires came out of their sleeping places. It could be caves, or basements, anywhere away from the rays of daylight.

The night was the active time for the undead bloodsuckers, and this night was no exception. In the darkened corners of the streets, vampires hung around, biting and sucking blood on unsuspecting victims, oftentimes leaving them for dead where they dropped.

"I do not mind killing every one of them myself," Vladimir said, holding a glass cup filled with a red liquid. "Bunch of mindless animals."

"They are your creation, Vlad," Vorenus said. "You should be proud."

Vladimir scoffed and took a small sip from his cup. "You," he said pointing at Vorenus and Alice. "You two are my creations... They," He gestured outside. "They are YOUR creations. And they disgust me."

Vorenus looked away. "They'll come around soon."

"You haven't even come around," Vladimir snorted. "You still drink blood like an animal."
