Rhys' POV

Having a meeting with the Generals was a normal routine, but with my Luna missing, each of their words aggravated me to no end. A warrior rushed into the meeting room, his chest rising and falling as he stared at me, “Alpha.” he breathed, falling to his knees, “Alpha, forgive me.” There were slight blood stains on his chest and a huge cut on his right arm, “I…I can't find the Luna.”

A loud chuckle escaped my lips, “What do you mean by that?” my voice thundered as I took slow strides towards the warrior, “What's that supposed to mean?” I asked, bending down to his level. His eyes darted around, his hands trembling like a leaf, “I…I checked everywhere and encountered some rouges, but I couldn't find the Luna.”

“That's impossible.” I laughed, gripping his chin tightly, “How dare you return here without finding her!”

During our last fight with the rouges, Felza had disappeared into thin air. We were unable to capture the child, and I lost my mate as well. Thinking about the w

Felza's POVDominic's words rendered me completely speechless, and I felt a crawling sensation on my skin. Hearing Sebastian's name was enough to cripple me, and getting to meet him was definitely going to end me. I swallowed nervously, feeling a knot tighten in my stomach, “Dominic, you can't do this. You have to let me go.” I whispered, hoping he would listen to my words, “The rogues are only using you. You'll end up like Eric.”“Eric?” Dominic grinned, a murderous glint in his eyes, “Do you think rouges would kill one of their own? Is this your ploy to deny the fact that you murdered him?” he asked, facing me head on. His dark locs fell to his shoulders, his strong chest bared, “If you think your words will change my mind, it's better you stop. You'll meet Sebastian soon.”His words made my insides twist, spasms of fear traveling throughout my entire body. Sebastian was going to torture me physically, mentally, and he might clear my pack as well. It would be the end, the very end I

Felza's POVMy body swayed as I ran with my feets, my hands still tied to my back. I'd escaped out of pure luck, but keeping my life was the real deal. I ran through the dark forest, lost, but desperate to live. Their footsteps became louder, snarls and growls filling my ears. They are rouges, deadly creatures. If I get caught now, I was definitely going to die. I was careful with my steps, my heart thumping so violently, it threatened to burst my chest. The mere thought of being torn apart by rouges made my legs wobble. The growls became louder, telling me they were closer, and my throat ran dry as my leg muscles tightened. Finding a tree, I tried to stabilize my heartbeat and hid right behind it. Darkness wasn't really a part of me, but it helped tonight, hiding my shadows from the rouge approaching me. It was hard, trying to keep my breaths at bay, but at the sight of the rouge's sharp canine, my breath hitched as tears gathered in my eyes. If my hands weren't tied, I would take

Countless times, I'd prayed for the war to end, but at this rate, it seemed like an impossible task. On a daily basis, werewolves were dying and Alphas were losing their Lunas. This wasn't the kind of life I wished for, but I was willing to give my all for that perfect world. I limped into the pack, feeling a dull pain in my legs. My eyes darted around, taking in the peaceful atmosphere which wouldn't last. The pack warriors walked forward, while a few of them helped me to the throne room. The large doors were pushed open, celebratory claps filling my ears as I walked in. I straightened my back because I am Luna. Being weak might lower their regard for me. “Felza.” Rhys gasped, walking forward hastily. I was only gone for a day or two, but he looked even more tired, dark circles evident in his eyes. He placed his hands on my shoulders, his eyes roaming my body hungrily, “You don't look fine.” he sighed, his voice heavy with guilt, “What did they do to you?” The sight of him made my

I'd thought healers were extinct; It was once talked about several years ago, but all of a sudden, it became a myth, never to be mentioned again. “Yes, I'm a healer.” she replied, rising up shakily. If there was one thing I knew about healers, it was the fact that they bear people's pain alone. That was the ultimate price for healing someone. Realization dawned upon me, and I tightened my grip on her hands, “What did you just do? I asked, glaring at her, “Why did you take my pain? You're pregnant!” “And you're hurting!” She snapped back, “I can't bear it.” Slowly, I released my grip on her hands. Her words touched me, painting her personality right in front of me. With our little interaction, I could tell why she looked fragile, weak and frail. She was used to healing people, sucking their pain and making it hers. That was what made her this way. I inhaled a shaky breath, taking a few steps forward, “Come, let's visit the pack doctor.” The red haired lady let out a chuckle, “I'll b

Felza's POVThese past few days had passed smoothly. There was no Intrusion of the rogues in my pack. Everything was going well, but I still couldn't get my mind off Dominic. I stared at the reflection of myself and sighed, covering my face with a black shawl. Sneaking out of the pack wasn't always my thing, but I was willing to risk anything to make sure my people were safe. The borders were strictly guarded by pack warriors, and I was careful enough to leave unnoticed. Walking in the forest again reminded me of my encounter with the rouges. It was dangerous but I had to see him. I strode down a familiar path for about half an hour before finding a small house in the woods. It looked old, worn out with grasses sprouting out in every corner. There were some flower vases by the sides and a dry place for making fire. I stepped further and unveiled myself, placing the shawl on my shoulders. I inhaled a sharp breath and placed my palm on the door, “Dominic.” I knocked slowly before wait

Rhys' POVThe sudden peace in the pack didn't make me relax. There were no rouges in sight, it was like they disappeared from the surface of the earth. The pack warriors surveyed the whole pack, but no rouges were found. Not a single one. I could tell they were planning something big, dangerous, something that could clear the pack in one breath. Rather than sitting still, I requested a meeting with the great Alpha of the Silver moon pack, someone who has fought against rogues for several years without being conquered. They were presently holding a banquet, a perfect chance for me to spend a few days to discuss with the Alpha. While I descended the stairs, Felza rushed towards me, her lavender scent filling my nostrils. My lips curled into a smile, “Felza, where are you off to?” I asked, wrapping my hands around her waist. I pulled her closer and raised her chin, “You should be resting.” “I'm fine.” she replied, her eyes burning holes into my skin. She looked undoubtedly beautiful t

Felza's POVAlpha Elias, his authoritative voice sent a shiver down my spine, and besides that, a man like him wasn't someone you would see everyday. He had silver hair that reached his neck, a well sculpted face and a unique set of gray eyes. Compared to mine, his eyes seem to be of the darkest shade of gray. He gracefully took a seat across from us and leaned his back on the couch, “I suppose you're here for the banquet.” Rhys shook his head, a slight frown evident on his features, “Not at all, Alpha Elias.” He paused for a while and leaned closer, “I mean, while we're here for the banquet, I'm also here to meet you as well. I informed your Beta about this meeting.” “I apologize, but he never told me anything about it.” Elias voiced, his gaze fixed on Rhys. His statement seemed quite off. I've heard of the bond between the Alpha and the Beta, how the beta is responsible for passing information to Alpha Elias at all times. The Beta and Rhys never had any personal argument, so it wa

Rhys' POVElias was acting suspicious, and the fact that he asked my Luna to excuse us was even more alarming. She was a part of me, a part of my soul, and I just hope that whatever he was about to say doesn't have anything to do with her. Elias directed his gaze towards me, his lips stretching into a wild grin, “You see, due to the war going on, you don't expect me to trust you immediately.” I nodded, confirming his words. His statement reminded me of the Redwoods pack and what I had to do to keep my pack safe. “Yes.” I said, scrutinizing every one of his expressions. “Good.” he smiled, dragging himself up. He strode towards the window and placed his hands on it, “You know I have a daughter, right? Sapphire. That's her name.” A slight chuckle escaped my lips as I found his words quite ridiculous. Here I am, talking about the safety of my pack, but he was trying to introduce me to his daughter. “Everyone is aware you have a daughter, Alpha Elias.” I said, my voice clipped, “Are w

FELZA’s POVAxel had a mate? He met his mate? I still couldn't get that revelation off my head as I fought some rouges. Axel had surprised me greatly; coming to fight for my pack even when we humiliated him was a great sign of strength. A rouge charged towards me, his teeth bared, as he tried to slash his sword through my neck. I ducked and cut off his legs instead. He screamed out loud and I chuckled at how beautiful that sounded. Earlier, I couldn't handle the picture of Rhys getting tortured that way. I'd killed Lisa in the blink of an eye, and I was quite surprised I felt satisfied by it. I ran towards Rhys to give him a helping hand, “You need to rest.” “Not when I have the chance to finish this up forever.” He smiled, slashing the rouge's throat. At the same time, our gaze landed on Sebastian who was guarded with a few rouges. In just a few minutes, thousands of rouges lay dead on the ground, and I even sighted a few of Rhys' pack warriors. Axel must have freed them from the

RHYS’ POVI thought I'd experienced pain several times, but nothing could be compared to what I felt now. Sebastian had chained Felza to a chair, forcing her to watch me get tortured. In the same position, my hands were chained to the ceiling, while my legs dangled freely like I was about to get executed. Even though I couldn't see them, about two rouges continued slashing my back with a leather whip with thorns, while Lisa focused on piercing my nails with needles, serving me exactly what my men had done to her. Another slash on my back and I wondered if I could really take this anymore. “Leave him alone, please.” Felza whimpered, crying out loud, as she trembled in the chair. She'd tried closing her eyes, but each time she heard me groan, her eyes fluttered open as tears spilled down her cheeks. I'd pressed my lips together, swallowing down my groans, but when Lisa pierced my thumb, a loud groan escaped my lips, “When are you going to stop, huh?” I whispered breathlessly, closing

AXEL’S POVActing on Chris' words might as well be the most stupid thing I'd ever done. Alright, alright, his idea was the best thing that's ever happened to me. I held a banquet, the most talked about in my pack and I found a woman, a stark contrast to Felza, but she enchanted me almost immediately—my mate. I was struck by her beauty, her elegance and her kind heart. Within the last few weeks, our bond grew, and I kept thanking the moon goddess for making me find her. Every night we prepared dinner together and talked about our whole day while having our meal filled with love. Diana made sure she painted my world with beautiful colors, her smile, her laughter and her encouraging words. In just a few weeks, my life changed in ways I couldn't imagine. My aggressive nature was all gone and I couldn't thank Chris more for his perfect and slightly insane idea. “Let's serve dinner since Chris is coming over with his girlfriend.” Diana's voice settled in my ears and I smiled, turning to

LISA’S POVThe plan went extremely well. Better than I could have ever imagined. While the whole pack was asleep, hundreds of rouges—which I lead, infiltrated the Bluemoon pack. We killed a few pack warriors and kept the others chained in the dungeon, and that was just the beginning of their nightmare. Rhys had no idea what's gotten to him when he saw me. He looked shocked, perhaps by my sword dripping with blood, or with the fact that I was back to take what truly belonged to me. A day like this was perfect, perhaps the most perfect day I'd had in a few years. It felt like being on a rollercoaster, listening to the screams of the same pack warriors who made my life miserable. Picking between Rhys and his family wasn't actually a problem. I knew my rouges would get them captured before they got any far and so, I spent my time with Rhys in the dungeon. I had him chained on the wall, his legs and hands set aside like he were hung on a cross. I picked up a dagger, my favorite dagger, a

I tightened my hold on Halo, as we made our way foward, “I wonder what they're going to do to him. We have to go ba—”“No!” Eric snapped, turning to face me. His brows were furrowed deeply as he said, “I care for the Alpha, but your safety matters as well. As soon as we get to Vanessa's, we'll think of a plan to get him out of there.” He seemed sincere, but there was a chilling glint in his eyes when he gazed at me. I swallowed hard and nodded, hoping the moon goddess would keep my husband safe. Halo tightened her hold around my neck, sniffing as a few drops of her tears caressed my skin, “would father be fine? We still have a memories to fill, to make. He's coming back right?” Unsure of the answer, I nodded slowly, “He will come back.” I assured Halo, or maybe I was assuring myself as well. We walked for a few mo

RHYS’ POV“Rouges” “Rouges” They were definitely behind Nora's death. Eric took slow strides towards me, “they must have used the secret entrance to sneak in at night.” And only Nora could have given them the exact spot of the secret entrance; it explained why Sebastian tortured her to death. I balled my hands into fists, anger surging through my veins. I weaved my hands through my hair, gritting out, “we have to kill them all.” “Or you have to get your family to safety. They're taking over the entire pack house. They've killed almost all our men. They infiltrated the pack at night. If we fight against them, we would lose our lives.” For the first time, I felt the urge to punch Eric in the face for being a coward. “You expect me to leave the pack house in ruins? Fleed just because I want to be safe?” “You have a daughter. She's only four; do you want her to live without a father?!” Eric yelled back, his eyes glistening with tears. He ran towards the door, locked it up and faced me

FELZA’S POVIn the last few days, I'd never seen Rhys in such a dejected shape. For hours he kept staring at Nora's room, perhaps wishing she would open up the door and jump in his arms—but she didn't. He did it continuously, walking across the hallway to come to a stop in front of her room. It's been a few days, but Rhys couldn't take the news of Nora's death. Even her parents. Vanessa had refused to bury her, hoping she would sneeze and yell “momma” Her body was still preserved, but Rhys stood on having her buried. He was meant to be at his morning meeting, but here he was, staring at Nora's door with longing in his eyes. It hurt me to see him that way, but I knew how much Nora meant to him. Even with the few moments my daughter and I spent here, I could tell he loved her as much as he loved Halo. Perhaps even more. I cleared my throat and placed my hand on his shoulder, “you should be having your meeting, Rhys.” “The pack is fine.” His hoarse voice rang out, clenching my heart. I

Felza had volunteered to prepare breakfast for everyone today, stunning Vanessa for a few seconds. Her gaze lingered on Felza for a while, “I'm yet to have a taste, but I'm sure this would taste heavenly.” She commented, and Felza smiled brightly, “then I hope everyone enjoys it.” I picked up my fork, but I noticed the absence of my second daughter, Nora. Her space was vacant, and Vanessa seemed to be aware of it. I frowned slightly and flipped my attention to her, “where's Nora? It's unlike her to be late for breakfast.” I said, watching as Vanessa slowly placed a meatball in her mouth. She wiped her mouth and leaned backwards, “we had an episode last night. She still refused to tell me about her supposed mate.” “And?” “She's probably sulking, still upset from what happened last night.” She conti

LISA’S POVDragging witches to Sebastian's presence seemed to be my job today. Sebastian kept killing them to satisfy his bloodthirsty urge, snapping their necks just because they enraged him. I hate to admit it, but I felt some kind of pity for them. He was just about to kill another because she refused to speak to him. And when she did, Sebastian smiled brightly at the gem he'd just found. He walked around her, circling her like a desperate predator, “I've been capturing your kind for the last few years, but no one's ever given me the answer and the solution I truly desired. With you, I can tell that my victory is near.” he raised her chin to gaze into her eyes and she smirked, “Since it's nearly midnight, we should proceed now.” Her voice was soft, but the chilling glint in her eyes couldn't be compared to another. She was just like me, slightly different in her own ways. I leaned against the soft cushion and tapped my feets on the ground, watching the interaction between Sebasti
