Felza's POV

Having a new life breathing inside of me made me giddy and excited, but for the last few minutes, Axel had been pacing around with a huge frown on his face. I inhaled a shaky breath and sat upright, “you should sit.” I whispered, “You've been pacing for half an hour.”

He flipped his attention to me and sighed, “Felza, this is an opportunity for us. You can't tell me you're unaware of my feelings for you.” I sucked in a breath and averted my gaze, knowing the right thing to do was to remain quiet. Talking right now would only make matters worse. He took slow strides towards me and leaned closer, placing his hands on my pillow, “Felza, I know you're aware of what I feel for you. Let's take care of this child together. I promise I won't be partial.”

“Axel” I breathed, turning to look at him, “My heart still belongs to him.” I confessed, blinking back my tears. Rhys banished me, humiliated me and rejected me, but my heart still belonged to him. I still couldn't stop think

Lisa's POVIn the dead of the night, the whole pack was asleep but I was writing in pain. With every minute that passed by, I felt my life flash before me. My whole body was on fire and the fact that I was thirsty only made matters worse. Spending days in this dungeon has been a nightmare. Sleeping became the only way to rest, but each time, a bucket of salt was all it took to wake me up from my torturous slumber. Wounds covered my whole body and I wondered if I could still recognize myself. I layed there on the ground, hoping the moon goddess would remember and send someone for me. A tear slipped down my cheeks as pain wracked through my whole body. It was like my whole body was set ablaze, everything and everywhere. My nails have been removed, my toe nails as well. The slowest and most painful torture I had to experience was watching my nails get pierced by a niddle. With each passing second, I still recalled the moment and shivered. Slow footsteps made me open up my eyes. Another

Rhys' POVLisa's actions had stunned me to the core, and the fact that she was able to escape without getting caught was enough to anger me to death. Sebastian or whoever helped her had killed almost all my men. All the pack warriors laid limp in their own blood. Such activity could only be done during the night, but it was also the main reason I ensured that her cell was strictly protected. I had strong men situated at every corner, but Sebastian had outsmarted them all. I ran my hands through my hair and slammed my fists on the wall, “how on earth did an injured person get so far? You could have done something, anything to get her captured. Instead, you got your arses and ran back to the pack. Don't you think she and her accomplice could be hiding somewhere? You should have killed them when you had the chance!” Making this long sentence in a few minutes stunned me, but there was nothing an upset person couldn't handle. I was a man of few words, which also explained the look of sh

Rhys' POVShe nodded again, her eyes darting around the whole kitchen before landing on me, “Yes.” she said, this time, her voice was softer. I nodded my head and flipped my attention to Eric, “take her to the dungeon.” “What? No!” She yelled, taking a few steps backwards, “what on earth is going on? You can't take me to the dungeon. I did nothing wrong.” “You did something wrong!” I snapped, “take her away.”“Alpha.” Eric leaned close to my ears, “the other maids have been staring at you, don't you think you're doing something wrong? She looks innocent.” His words made me chuckle, and sometimes, I tend to wonder if picking him as my beta was a wrong decision. Eric was strong, firm and good at making decisions, but reading or seeing through a person's fake acts was pretty hard for him. This young maid here had been fidgeting, rubbing her hands on her dress and shivering, but she still kept on saying she did nothing wrong. A sinner would never shiver without doing something wrong an

Rhys' POVThe young maid's words were starting to get on my nerves and the fact that she didn't fear death was even more surprising. I paced around the dungeon, to and fro like someone without a home. Eric stood before the maid, trying to get some words from her as a friend, but she kept on shaking her head because she doesn't care about the lives of the pack members. Frustrated, I strode towards her and wrapped my hands around her neck, almost choking her, “I've been lenient enough and you know that.” I glared hard at her, and she felt small under my gaze. She averted her gaze, looking elsewhere but I forced her to look at me. She tried to pry my hands away, but I only tightened it the more, wanting her to feel how her lungs were being crushed. “tell me the fucking mastermind behind this whole shit.” Jayden would have been the first suspect, but Sebastian broke in last night. If Jayden had poisoned my men to have the upper hand, Sebastian might have poisoned them to get Lisa out.

Lisa's POVThe rouge camp was smaller compared to the Bluemoon pack, but I was still quite grateful for the gift of a family. Even with my whole pack dead, the rouge camp still felt like home. My normal routine as the Luna of a pack changed, but the only unchanging thing in my heart was the urge to have revenge. My wounds were healing fast, but walking around was still quite hard. Even till this present moment, I was still grateful to Sebastian for his help. If not because of him, I would have been slaughtered like some animal by my mate. As an orphan, I stayed in my small hut alone, but keeping the house clean was something I was most good at. After limping for about half an hour, I finally settled everything, including the messed up kitchen. Sebastian had returned back to his place in the rouge camp, and he gave me a full month to recover. If there was something strange I noticed, it was the fact that Sebastian was getting soft or loosening up. He smiled more, laughed more, and w

Rhys' POVAs the Alpha of the Bluemoon pack, it was my duty to ensure everyone's safety, Including strangers as well. Since the young maid cared for her little sister, I brought up another plan which she willingly agreed to go with. To be less suspicious, I made the pack warrior treat her wound before we left for the journey. If there was something I learnt from being an Alpha, It was the fact that no one would cross the border of another pack without someone to protect him. Jayden was definitely going to bring a few guards, perhaps he's been used to hiding them away from the young maid. While we walked further into the woods, she halted to take in a deep breath. She sighed, her gaze lingering on her covered up toes, “can we rest for a while?” She asked, sounding pitiful. Giving in to her request was going to waste our time. My warriors were dying and the lives of my pack members were at risk as well, so I said, “You have to go on for the sake of your sister.” “I'm injured.” She si

Rhys' POVJayden was starting to get on my nerves, and the fact that he was reluctant to give up the antidote angered me even more. Having to threaten him with a member of his family wasn't something I was used to, but for my pack? I was willing to do anything and everything. I'd asked my warriors to tie him up to a chair, but Jayden kept smiling like a pretty idiot, “You're losing now, Rhys.” he said, his gaze never wavering from mine, “Your men are going to die anyways because I'm never giving up the antidote.” “Then you must think I was joking with my threat.” I began, picking up a screw a few meters away, “While my men would leave to capture your little sister, I'm going to have some private chat with you.” His eyes widened, but he was quick to compose himself, “She's somewhere safe, somewhere so far you'll never see her. If you think you'd be able to get into my pack during a war, then go ahead.” “Then you must underestimate my pack warriors.” I grinned, “It's something as easy

Axel's POVIt's been just a few days and Felza seems to have blossomed into one of the most beautiful flowers. She smiled more, laughed more and took her health extremely seriously. Her life became a da—ily routine she strictly followed and somehow, I had that routine memorized for her. Each morning after dawn, she leaves the pack for a jog and returns back refreshed and a bit sweaty. After having her early morning jog, Felza enjoys having a glass of water before taking some coffee. She never avoided me. Each time she bumps into me, she flashes me a warm smile, one bright enough to seize my breath for a few seconds. It happened again, and I couldn't stop staring at her. Felza would finish her glass of coffee, freshen up and step into the pack library to read a few books —novels of course. Without searching high and low, I already knew where I could find her within the pack. I had her whole routine memorized like the date of my birth. I stared at the purple flowers in my hands and s

FELZA’s POVAxel had a mate? He met his mate? I still couldn't get that revelation off my head as I fought some rouges. Axel had surprised me greatly; coming to fight for my pack even when we humiliated him was a great sign of strength. A rouge charged towards me, his teeth bared, as he tried to slash his sword through my neck. I ducked and cut off his legs instead. He screamed out loud and I chuckled at how beautiful that sounded. Earlier, I couldn't handle the picture of Rhys getting tortured that way. I'd killed Lisa in the blink of an eye, and I was quite surprised I felt satisfied by it. I ran towards Rhys to give him a helping hand, “You need to rest.” “Not when I have the chance to finish this up forever.” He smiled, slashing the rouge's throat. At the same time, our gaze landed on Sebastian who was guarded with a few rouges. In just a few minutes, thousands of rouges lay dead on the ground, and I even sighted a few of Rhys' pack warriors. Axel must have freed them from the

  • Rejected by my Choosen Mate    chapter 185

RHYS’ POVI thought I'd experienced pain several times, but nothing could be compared to what I felt now. Sebastian had chained Felza to a chair, forcing her to watch me get tortured. In the same position, my hands were chained to the ceiling, while my legs dangled freely like I was about to get executed. Even though I couldn't see them, about two rouges continued slashing my back with a leather whip with thorns, while Lisa focused on piercing my nails with needles, serving me exactly what my men had done to her. Another slash on my back and I wondered if I could really take this anymore. “Leave him alone, please.” Felza whimpered, crying out loud, as she trembled in the chair. She'd tried closing her eyes, but each time she heard me groan, her eyes fluttered open as tears spilled down her cheeks. I'd pressed my lips together, swallowing down my groans, but when Lisa pierced my thumb, a loud groan escaped my lips, “When are you going to stop, huh?” I whispered breathlessly, closing

AXEL’S POVActing on Chris' words might as well be the most stupid thing I'd ever done. Alright, alright, his idea was the best thing that's ever happened to me. I held a banquet, the most talked about in my pack and I found a woman, a stark contrast to Felza, but she enchanted me almost immediately—my mate. I was struck by her beauty, her elegance and her kind heart. Within the last few weeks, our bond grew, and I kept thanking the moon goddess for making me find her. Every night we prepared dinner together and talked about our whole day while having our meal filled with love. Diana made sure she painted my world with beautiful colors, her smile, her laughter and her encouraging words. In just a few weeks, my life changed in ways I couldn't imagine. My aggressive nature was all gone and I couldn't thank Chris more for his perfect and slightly insane idea. “Let's serve dinner since Chris is coming over with his girlfriend.” Diana's voice settled in my ears and I smiled, turning to

  • Rejected by my Choosen Mate    chapter 183

LISA’S POVThe plan went extremely well. Better than I could have ever imagined. While the whole pack was asleep, hundreds of rouges—which I lead, infiltrated the Bluemoon pack. We killed a few pack warriors and kept the others chained in the dungeon, and that was just the beginning of their nightmare. Rhys had no idea what's gotten to him when he saw me. He looked shocked, perhaps by my sword dripping with blood, or with the fact that I was back to take what truly belonged to me. A day like this was perfect, perhaps the most perfect day I'd had in a few years. It felt like being on a rollercoaster, listening to the screams of the same pack warriors who made my life miserable. Picking between Rhys and his family wasn't actually a problem. I knew my rouges would get them captured before they got any far and so, I spent my time with Rhys in the dungeon. I had him chained on the wall, his legs and hands set aside like he were hung on a cross. I picked up a dagger, my favorite dagger, a

FELZA’S POV“We shouldn't have left him behind.” I whispered, as we walked through the woods. We'd managed to leave the library, but I could still feel someone on our tail. I tightened my hold on Halo, as we made our way foward, “I wonder what they're going to do to him. We have to go ba—”“No!” Eric snapped, turning to face me. His brows were furrowed deeply as he said, “I care for the Alpha, but your safety matters as well. As soon as we get to Vanessa's, we'll think of a plan to get him out of there.” He seemed sincere, but there was a chilling glint in his eyes when he gazed at me. I swallowed hard and nodded, hoping the moon goddess would keep my husband safe. Halo tightened her hold around my neck, sniffing as a few drops of her tears caressed my skin, “would father be fine? We still have a memories to fill, to make. He's coming back right?” Unsure of the answer, I nodded slowly, “He will come back.” I assured Halo, or maybe I was assuring myself as well. We walked for a few mo

RHYS’ POV“Rouges” “Rouges” They were definitely behind Nora's death. Eric took slow strides towards me, “they must have used the secret entrance to sneak in at night.” And only Nora could have given them the exact spot of the secret entrance; it explained why Sebastian tortured her to death. I balled my hands into fists, anger surging through my veins. I weaved my hands through my hair, gritting out, “we have to kill them all.” “Or you have to get your family to safety. They're taking over the entire pack house. They've killed almost all our men. They infiltrated the pack at night. If we fight against them, we would lose our lives.” For the first time, I felt the urge to punch Eric in the face for being a coward. “You expect me to leave the pack house in ruins? Fleed just because I want to be safe?” “You have a daughter. She's only four; do you want her to live without a father?!” Eric yelled back, his eyes glistening with tears. He ran towards the door, locked it up and faced me

FELZA’S POVIn the last few days, I'd never seen Rhys in such a dejected shape. For hours he kept staring at Nora's room, perhaps wishing she would open up the door and jump in his arms—but she didn't. He did it continuously, walking across the hallway to come to a stop in front of her room. It's been a few days, but Rhys couldn't take the news of Nora's death. Even her parents. Vanessa had refused to bury her, hoping she would sneeze and yell “momma” Her body was still preserved, but Rhys stood on having her buried. He was meant to be at his morning meeting, but here he was, staring at Nora's door with longing in his eyes. It hurt me to see him that way, but I knew how much Nora meant to him. Even with the few moments my daughter and I spent here, I could tell he loved her as much as he loved Halo. Perhaps even more. I cleared my throat and placed my hand on his shoulder, “you should be having your meeting, Rhys.” “The pack is fine.” His hoarse voice rang out, clenching my heart. I

RHYS’ POV“This is for you.” I placed some meatball on Halo's plate, watching as her cheeks flushed red, “thanks, dad.” she smiled, slowly reaching for her fork to begin eating breakfast. Felza had volunteered to prepare breakfast for everyone today, stunning Vanessa for a few seconds. Her gaze lingered on Felza for a while, “I'm yet to have a taste, but I'm sure this would taste heavenly.” She commented, and Felza smiled brightly, “then I hope everyone enjoys it.” I picked up my fork, but I noticed the absence of my second daughter, Nora. Her space was vacant, and Vanessa seemed to be aware of it. I frowned slightly and flipped my attention to her, “where's Nora? It's unlike her to be late for breakfast.” I said, watching as Vanessa slowly placed a meatball in her mouth. She wiped her mouth and leaned backwards, “we had an episode last night. She still refused to tell me about her supposed mate.” “And?” “She's probably sulking, still upset from what happened last night.” She conti

LISA’S POVDragging witches to Sebastian's presence seemed to be my job today. Sebastian kept killing them to satisfy his bloodthirsty urge, snapping their necks just because they enraged him. I hate to admit it, but I felt some kind of pity for them. He was just about to kill another because she refused to speak to him. And when she did, Sebastian smiled brightly at the gem he'd just found. He walked around her, circling her like a desperate predator, “I've been capturing your kind for the last few years, but no one's ever given me the answer and the solution I truly desired. With you, I can tell that my victory is near.” he raised her chin to gaze into her eyes and she smirked, “Since it's nearly midnight, we should proceed now.” Her voice was soft, but the chilling glint in her eyes couldn't be compared to another. She was just like me, slightly different in her own ways. I leaned against the soft cushion and tapped my feets on the ground, watching the interaction between Sebasti
