“We need to talk.” his tone blared with so much power .

“We have nothing to talk about," Elise argued. She tried to control the incessant pace at which her heart was beating from just being near him, trying to show that he had no control over her, but she was failing miserably.

Their heated breaths were the only sound that filled the silent space as Elise shut her eyes and tried pushing his tempting voice that always shook her resolve and made her body shiver with want away.
