Growing pressure

Kyren Gerwolff has arrived at the Blackmoon Pack. His eerie presence alone made the whole hall erupt in whispers. His chin was raised in a show of his power and pride.

A barrage of the younger and weaker wolves had looks of apprehension and fear on their faces. Knowing this was the alpha male and monster that held their king captive for months, no one trusted him.

It becomes worse when Elise feels the stares turn towards her. Her gaze locks with Kyren, and a tremor of nerves begins to bite at her, but she controls her face into one of stoic indifference like Rygan has taught her. Kyren wasn’t going to win this.

Kyren makes his way to where she stands with Taz and Kaide, who had quietly come to her side, even though she ended things with him just a moment ago.

From their beta stance and scent, she could tell they were trying to hold back their growls from attacking and killing Kyren right there in the hall.

Kyren's face was immediately in awe when she saw Elise; the glimmer
